Looks pretty clean, but I don't know these well enough to know if it is AU or MS. Thoughts?

Terrible at grading gold, but i think it may be 55-58. Hard to tell weak strike - vs - wear on these Indians from pics, especially the $2.50, and $5 incused ones.

I may not know what I'm doing most of the time, but I'm Damn good at it. 😇 😈

Not my area, but I'd guess either 58 or low MS...

AU55-ish, I would guess. Definitely not UNC IMHO

That was my first thought. Hard to tell from a pic but either way it's worth getting graded.

Wow. I am not seeing all the wear problems mentioned so far, Overall she is very nice looking with no major distracting hits and good color. Looks a lot like my MS64 1910-D Indian. Maybe I need a new computer monitor. :)

Whatever it grades it is exceptionally free of hits and abrasions. Really nice coin.

Hmm. I was really hoping it was MS, but even if it is a high AU, it is a really clean example, so I'll probably send her in.

    I love this series!

I would guess AU58 based on the softness of the eagle' wing's bottom edge... but if this could be determined in-hand to be softness of strike, then I'd say the coin could go as high as 63. It could very well be strike-related, given the lack of any corresponding wear on the obverse.

Actually, because there are no major hits or other distractions, then depending how much chatter in the fields is being covered up by the photo technique, I might say this could actually be a very choice, exceptionally clean 63, but I don't think the coin would go higher than a 63 based on the afore mentioned chatter.

I'm in the low MS camp. I usually look first at the lock of hair above the eye, and then check out the eagle.

It's definitely worthy of a slab, and may well be MS. Good luck.

I think there is a bit of high point rub, so 58; remarkably free of significant hits. Send 'er in!

Looks 58 since the high points seem to have a touch of wear. Without the rub looks solid 62.

AU-58 / 62. It will go into an Unc. slab.

The color is even. The lighter areas in the picture are the luster.

It's really hard to be definitive off any photos, even good ones. There's a light of reflected light in those. It looks to me like there could be a little rub on the eagle's wing (or not). It also looks to me like a lot of marks in the obverse field and on the cheek that could be handling marks. I still think high AU from the picture, but I could see anything from maybe 53/55 to 61/62

Grade just popped! I will upload the TrueView when it's ready, and we can all re-guess, lol. All 6 gold coins straight graded, which is awesome news since one of them I busted out of a cleaned NGC holder :p I knew she wasn't cleaned though!
