Well after taking a few months off I see there has been many nice coins purchased. Congrats to all of you who truly love this series. Jay that is another really nice variety and top pop and congrats. It is so nice to see some of you who actually search for varieties and end up NOT being Buried in a Coin. @davewesen that is a Great Type B pickup Nice Job.

The coins are out there if you just put in the effort. These two coins are my first purchase in over 3 months. Down to 23 coins left. Also congrats to @Washingtonrainbows for taking over the Top spot in the 32 to 64 Set. Amazing. I finally found a nice 1955 d I like and the 1962 d is another coin I have been waiting for a nice 66+. Enjoy....

I forgot to post this variety I picked up a few months ago. This was coin 160. I would love to own a MS Version but they get really Expensive. So I was Happy to add this one for a Reasonable Price.

And Might as well add my newest pickup. Coin number 163 out of 185. Been watching this coin for awhile and seller finally lowered the price to where I liked it. Always like a coin that has a good True View.

Thanks Mark. I agree the 37 ddo in any grade is a great addition to the set. 10 years ago the MS was a lot cheaper.

Hey Jay. It looks like you picked the Right Coins to get true viewed and they did a great job. You have the eyes for this Series. Love the 36 S but the 1942 is really a nice looking toner.

Tom. You can keep showing the same coins over and over and I would never get tired looking at them. Love those rainbow colors.

Well this coin is one of my favorite coins. It is the only 1953 ETF Variety in a Cameo grade. I enjoy looking at coins that have the die altered by someone at the mint. So this die was so worn that the tail feathers on the eagle we almost gone and someone then engraved new tail feathers and then they polished the die to create the cameo effect. I consider this one of the rarest coins I own. I am not sure how many coins were struck with the ETF and in Cameo condition, but I think there are very few. This coin is a conditional rarity.

I remember finding the second 1953 ETF to be graded. At the time I thought it was a super rare coin. Others on the Board suggested I sell it at that time. I really wanted to keep the coin for my set but decided to sell it on heritage. I think the coin sold for over 3 grand.

It took another 6 months before another member found one and sold it to me. I now have the Proof 66 and this Proof 67, There are now 54 Examples in Just proof with the highest a 68 and 9 67's.

Your coin is The ONLY Cameo so far. And just like when I happened to be looking at your set and saw that 1956 Proof in 65 DCAM and it was the Die Gouge, that too is one nice coin. I see that coin is now tied for Top Pop with only 1 other.

Love the true views Jay and Nice job on Building a Great Set....

I just looked at that 45-S I just posted and realized it has an inverted S. It is also a Trumpet Tail S. I did not know that it was that variety. Of course PCGS does not recognize this variety, but it is a pretty cool variety that according to Vista Variety website it is the only inverted mintmark in this series. Of course there is the 1956 D/Inverted D but this is the only inverted mintmark that was not corrected at the mint.

Going by CONECA pics it looks like a regular S for that year with some machine doubling. Or else a RPM not listed.

I feel the same way as it seems to get tougher the closer you get to the End. Nice Pickup Jay and Good luck on the last 6. I feel so far away needing 21. But in No hurry. Did your other 46 s cross over? I am getting my order ready to send off this week....

I sent it in for a straight grade. I hope it gets a 67. Either way I am keeping that one. It has the look. LOL

Does anyone here have any idea where I can find a 34P and 37S quarter in NGC MS67? I have people looking at big shows and nothing so far.

Perhaps this should appear on BST, but I’m hoping one of you Washie specialists can help me out. I’m looking to pay top dollar for a 1936 PR66 (or better) Quarter graded by PCGS with a CAC. While I have seen many of these, I’m part of what I believe is a large silent group (maybe not a majority, but I believe quite large group) that prefers 20th Century Proof coins to be blast white with very high luster. While my other 1936 silver proof coins, and my 1936-1942 proof quarters are all blast white with super high luster, the 1936 proof quarters graded PR66 I’ve seen have either had significant toning, or significant haze/cloudiness that hides the true beautiful luster underneath. As noted above, if you have available the coin I’m looking for, I can pay top dollar. Feel free to message me. Thanks.

This coin was last auctioned in 2007 and it came out of the Cheeks Collection. Ex: W.M. Garber Collection. Zones of lavender-blue and olive-gold patina grace each side of this highly lustrous example. The devices exhibit solid detail.

I always loved the way they used to describe there coins on heritage. This coin has put me in 5th place All time Finest Set finally bumping Mitch @wondercoin .

He opened up his set last week and now I see why it has taken me so long to get past him. Some beautiful Washington Quarters in that set. But it also showed me how Little the Varieties score with the current point system. One would think that in a Variety Set they would actually give more points for the varieties.

Well I got some True Views back so I will post them here.

Here is a 1956-D D/D that I found raw. I was actually surprised by the grade. I was hoping for a 64, but they graded it a 65.

Then I got a MS-66 on my 1951-D DDO. I have to give credit to 1Tommy for showing me how what to look for on this variety. This is a tie for Top Pop.

I will post more when I have more time.
