1818 Bust Half...a long ago purchase but a very new and MUCH nicer image! Feel free to GTG

I bought this 1818 Bust Half (PCGS graded) many years ago and have always thought it was undergraded....so feel free to GTG.........GRADE POSTED, SCROLL DOWN
It also happens to be my very first True View...Lance style which makes it look even nicer, thanks Lance!
You are a true wizard with that camera of yours.

Nice coin... Tough call based on what you said. Looks MS with the slightest cabinet friction but I would still go with an MS grade. 62 seems most probable

64/65 from images.
Wow, looks mint state to me---I'll say 63 shot 64.

Very,very nice!
Don't kill me but just asking, is Liberty's upper cap folds showing wear or is it just the strike?
Beautiful coin and as usual great photo's, Lance.

Jim, I believe this half has a full strike.

Wow. Love the detail. Love the surfaces. Would love to oogle it in hand. Looks pretty gemmy. I’ll guess it’s in a 64 holder.
I will say a 58 because of the comments you made regarding it being under graded and graded a while ago. I certainly have no problem with it being called MS, but can see what some may call a slight rub. Very nice piece either way
64 all day long! What a solid strike and great luster!
That is one amazing bust half! My guess is MS-64. Also, I am pretty sure it is Overton-111.

My guess is 58 to 64 until I see it in hand! Wouldn't be surprised if it's in an old holder to be a 55!
I agree with @No headlights that the coin is graded AU58 because it was submitted years ago.
A very well struck and eye-appealing early die state coin. Probably better than most MS coins even if it is graded as a high end AU.
Very nice coin. Under graded at 62.
Looks MS all day and probably a 62, but looks to me to have a shot at 64 if the pics are accurate. Fields are super clean.

Nice one, I see nothing that keeps it out of the near gem grading.
I sent this one in that graded AU55, I think it is o113: https://i.imgur.com/I52ODxN.jpg?1 https://i.imgur.com/uxl0tO2.jpg?1
I'll guess it's in a 55 holder
Excellent guesses so far. Will reveal the grade in the morning.

Really nice Bust! 63/64 is my guess.

Graded 62, I’d call it 63

Great guesses everyone, but this little beauty is undergraded IMO as it’s only graded as an
AU58!
Not sure what the graders were thinking that day when this one was graded, hmmm.
Dave
Wow... I would grade it a 64 and feel good about it.... Interesting clash and die cracks... That deserves a resubmit... Cheers, RickO
I’ll give you 20% more than AU58 money for it right now.....
The only other 1818 bust half PCGS 58+ that exists (see below) sold through Heritage in January 2015 for $3525....Thank you but I think I’ll pass on your offer
Dave
Nice & I miss the days when you could find Super Sliders like that.
In the last 5-6 years even most of the AU58+ coins suck royal arse.
ill go with ms 64 as well.
My grade 60-61 but on a lucky day at PCGS 63

MS 64 but I'm very weak on grading photos
It’s a 58+ disguises as a 64, right?
What a beautiful piece at any grade!!
I would have guessed 64 shot 65 all day long! Gold CAC it!!!

I would never venture a guess re an opened collared coin that has a shot at being called Unc. without seeing it in person and being familiar with the die pair with which it was struck.
