Walker Proof Digital Album Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
Number 2. All things being equal, I've seen quite a few luster bombs get plusses when I didn't really think it was warranted based on the coin overall.
Here are the poll resuts so far out of 42 confirmable votes:
1-12
2-22
3-8
Hoping some others from the Barber Thread come and cast a vote before I make the reveal.
All 3 of these coins are PCGS straight grades as a couple seem to think they may not be.

From the voting it seems the majority agree with you. A lot of the enjoyment of numismatics is to each his own. It will be interesting which is the plus. Great post
Thanks
Jim
I said 3 initially, but I'm leaning more to 1 now that I've seen them on my desktop monitor... I think maybe too much rub on 3 for a 58, 53/5 perhaps... 2 looks almost too lustrous, at least for my tastes.
Collecting: Dansco 7070; Middle Date Large Cents (VF-AU); Box of 20;
I am not a fan of any of these coins because numbers 1 and 2 have been dipped, and #3 has so-so eye appeal. I voted for #1 because it appears to have less rub on Ms. Liberty's cheek.

Here is one I owned years ago that was an NGC AU-58. This one was nice for the grade. The red spot was from the camera. I "made" this one from a raw coin. It had orginal surfaces.

Updated Poll. @Ikenefic I changed your vote to #1.

If enough of yall are going to FUN I could bring all 3 for an in hand look. I think if I could get a better picture of #3 it might loose a vote or 2 from the comments. It is all but white and not as golden as my picture as I mentioned earlier.
I am not re-voting based on new info. Also, the reason something gets in a 58 plus holder is because the head grader on that particular day was in a good mood. You can also request the 58+ only upgrade now, which has added to more getting it. Here is the PCGS language:
Upgrade by Plus Grade ONLY. Example: (AU58 to AU58+, AU58 will not upgrade to MS60)

I wouldn't have pegged any of them as AU58+. If I had to pick one, it would the first coin.
If one of them is going to get the plus from me, it would be #1.
I don't like any of them. A 58 should be a just missed unc.

I'm quite the opposite of my F-XF sets vrs. my AU58 set! I love headlights in my 58 set!
not #3, so that leaves # 1 or 2
The cheek on #2 seems to have too many marks.
The field in front of the forehead on #1 has some distracting marks,
so I'll say:
all 3 of them
BHNC #203
If one of them 58+'d I will guess it was #2.
Well.... Number two... the luster looks better on that coin.... Cheers, RickO

Number 3.
I like #1 & #3, my guess is #1 but #3 has it's original skin.
If any of the three are actually an AU58+, to me it would be #3. Left up to me, I wouldn't give any of them a + designation.

Boy I sure hope that I can find better when I fill that hole. I would only give number two a 58.
and the answer is?
BHNC #203
agreed, none should have a + , at this grade imho, but we are assuming one of these DO , I am sticking with #2 for surfaces which is super for a 58
Lost interest........way to long.
I would have to say NONE.
But, if you are saying that one of these coins resides in a PCGS 58+ holder and I have to guess which one....ugh, I will say 2.

Wonder why so few or none of the barberites from the mega thread did or did not chime in?
OK. Out with it already........
3 for me, and I like it the best.
if Barber coins are similar to bust half dimes insofar as dishing out the 58+ grade, I will go with the ugliest one: #3
2. The luster.

Lottsa votes still coming in! It Hasn't even been a been a day yet!
Those all look like 55's with an outside shot at 58 to me...but if I had to pick the best one, it'd be #2

since I voted door #2, I'll add that I'll gladly pay 58+ price for the coin*.
*(if I were in the market for one)
Been feeding PCGS mucho dollars doing that.
