BREAKING NEWS: While you slept Coins Tanked & Exonumia Skyrocketed!!!

He's just a little GREEDY... Or so it seems
Not sure where this joker is getting his rarity ratings from?
$50,525.99 - Raw this is like a $80-125 Masonic token.
$58,750.99 - A decade ago this Lovett Presidential Residence series was so dead that it would take months to sell a NGC example even as low as $65.00. In the last year or so these have been selling for around $300-500 and you see them listed as high as $700-1200... Until now.
To Err Is Human.... To Collect Err's Is Just Too Much Darn Tootin Fun!

I am still snoozing when it comes to the Lovett Presidential series. My interest is mostly centered on the tokens that were made for the campaigns with some inaugural material thrown in. The tokens that were made after the fact, including "death medals," really don't interest me. Lovett (all of the Lovetts) pieces are hot, however, so that might have something to do with it.
I've always considered the Lovett Presidential Residence series to be Death Medals
as in, "Buried," LOL
I have seen some crazy stuff post overnight but usually involves a bottle of Jack and some hats.
Best place to buy !

I like his Beanie Babies and they are mostly under $10 each.
I think he let his kids pick prices for some of the tokens.

Not in my areas of interest.... even at a reasonable price - and that pricing is ludicrous. Cheers, RickO
Masonic medal & token collectors are really frugal so I bet even if he lowered the price by $50,300.00 it would still be on eBay for a year.
Just plain stupid pricing

Craziness!!
LOL. He mostly sells $5 beanie babies. Go look at his sold items. He has sold some coins at reasonable prices. He must have been drinking? Joking?
You see some of these outlier prices on eBay frequently. I've always wondered what the aim was - create comps?

I've put up a couple items before with a ridiculous price - usually just by adding extra zeros. It does get you views but of course never sold. More for humor than anything else and when I did it I was hoping someone would see that and make an offer with an absurd low price! Never happened. I only sell a few things so it really didn't matter but if I was making a living from ebay I wouldn't do it.
And they don't even have special labels.

That's actually reasonable, expensive to insure a coin that expensive
