Need TrueView images of CAC stickered and CAC "rejected" coins

I am preparing for a workshop for my local coin club this fall. Part of the workshop will revolve around CAC approved and CAC "rejected" coins.

If you would care to help, please PM the serial numbers of coins with TrueView images that have been approved by CAC (green or gold) and TrueView images of coins that were not approved by CAC. All info will be kept confidential.

I can't help you because I don't have any "Tru View" images. I do have CAC accepted and rejected coins.

Here is a CAC Gold coin of mine ...
Slab photo and TrueView

Gold CAC'd as a PCGS AU58BN.

Interestingly it was Green CAC'd as an NGC MS62BN.
So clearly NGC and CAC thought it was a solid MS62, while PCGS thought it was an AU58

This is a very interesting microcosm of how TPG's and CAC work and are viewed. The value has probably increased even though it's in a lower graded holder.

There is an old scratch under the eagle which is why CAC rejected it the first time. I felt the coin solid for the grade and bought it anyway. Eventually, CAC agreed

I have looked at buying one these later Gobrecht Dollars a couple of times on the bourse floor, but the only pieces that have been available to me were dipped white, and graded by NGC. The price was in the neighborhood of $45,000 both times.

Please feel free to keep the examples coming ... especially those examples you feel to be particularly useful for instruction. I value your interpretation as to why a coin did or did not receive a CAC green or gold sticker.

NGC 63 to PCGS 61??? - unbelievable - I would have specified crossover grade 63 or higher or not at all! Could care less about the gold sticker if it's now in a 61 holder. Looks like u spent some good money in all that that would buy a nice coin too.

As far as it being worth more in the 61 holder I doubt PCGS MV for 61 is higher than NGC MV for 63!

Interesting results to consider and statistically analyze.
In the end I would guess that the "COIN" condition is in the eye of the owner.
