Looks a lot like the one I sold over 40 years ago. Wish I never sold it. I would be very happy with your coin.

All Flowing hair coins look amazing to me no matter the grade or condition. It's true early Americana and you can't change that with a wire brush. Not saying yours had been wire brushed. Just trying to make a point.
    I love your coin

    Congratulations!

I can't think of anything I've wanted for 40 years, except perhaps for the King of Siam Proof Set. I knew I could never afford that one so it never got to my want list.

I know what it is to wait for a few years for something, however. It's not that much fun after a while. Some collectors like the chase; I like the study and the ownership.

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

Thanks everyone. I was at a local club coin show and picked it up. I probably paid too much but like I said, it's a coin I've wanted for a long time. Now I'll have to find its little sibling, a F. H. 50c
