It's always great to get something you have wanted for so long. Neat coin!
Lots of lines, but not too bad, congrats.
Awesome!
Looks a lot like the one I sold over 40 years ago. Wish I never sold it. I would be very happy with your coin.
it's crackers to slip a rozzer the dropsy in snide
Congrats and good for you.

My Washington Quarter Registry set...in progress
Well done - it's a coin still on my someday, long term want list too.
Think where that coin has been in it's 2+ centuries! Congrats on satisfying that long term need.
Nice Coin and Congrats!...also...Thank You for changing your avatar
All Flowing hair coins look amazing to me no matter the grade or condition. It's true early Americana and you can't change that with a wire brush. Not saying yours had been wire brushed. Just trying to make a point.
I love your coin
Sweet. Makes you wonder if Washington himself was bored one day with only his pocket knife and a coin
Congratulations!
I can't think of anything I've wanted for 40 years, except perhaps for the King of Siam Proof Set. I knew I could never afford that one so it never got to my want list.
I know what it is to wait for a few years for something, however. It's not that much fun after a while. Some collectors like the chase; I like the study and the ownership.
HaHa, I was thinking the same thing.
Congrats!!
I too waited 40 years for my 1st FH dollar, finally filling that tough space in your type set is so sweet. Enjoy!

Great to fill that hole.
Probably test marks as they appear well toned over.
Nice. Feels good to get something you've always wanted.

Congratulations... A great coin no matter the issues... any time you can get such a coin - and particularly one you have sought - it is very satisfying. Cheers, RickO
Thanks everyone. I was at a local club coin show and picked it up. I probably paid too much but like I said, it's a coin I've wanted for a long time. Now I'll have to find its little sibling, a F. H. 50c
