64.......... No worse than 63 though if they hammer you for that bag mark on the neck.
Lots of stronger grade qualities on this one. 65 luster. Reverse alone is close to 66. Obverse fields are 65. Very blasty coin.
63
62
I thought 63+. Luster looks great and it's clean but for that hit on the neck.
63.
Should get 64. Eye appeal will net grade it up from a technical 63+. Not much difference between 63 and 64 price wise so it's kind of a moot point. Nice one!
should go 64 might net to 63+ but I go 64
Attractive higher end 63 and 63plus would not be surprising

64 or altered surfaces
I was thinking about that but I think what we're seeing is a semi-PL a few strikes away rather than dipped luster.
The fields are superb. I'd imagine no less than MS63, though that seems too low for the coin, so I would go MS63+ or MS64.

Virtually flawless except for prominent hits in prominent areas....agree with the 63+/64 crowd.
63 The hit on the nose, neck, and cheek.
LIKE the color though (.....lack thereof!!!)
Agree with the 63+ - 64 crowd

tough crowd. Lock 65 IMO

Finest Toned Ike I've Ever Seen, been looking since 1986
Reverse is 65, obverse is 63 due to hit in neck, net grade 64, my two cents
64+
I would say 64.... if not for the hits it would definitely hit 65+.... Very nice coin..... I would display that one if I owned it. Cheers, RickO
Take away the neck reeding hit and I'd say it would have a fair shot to MS65. There's also some die striations across the jaw that would be a distraction. I owned a beautifully toned Reeded Edge half with a prominent reed hit on the neck. The coin was 66 in all other respects. It was graded NGC MS65. The coin would never cross and it wouldn't sticker....solely because of that single hit. And it wasn't quite as noticeable as the one on this coin. A wide quadruple reed hit like this 85-cc aren't all that easy to find. Usually you find them with only 1-2 reeds showing and a more blunt hit. This one took a whopper.
It certainly did, but the rest of the coin was so appealing that I could overlook that flaw. Now, if it was smack in the middle of the cheek then I probably wouldn't have been able to. I think that the way it is placed and aligned with the neck makes it less distracting than it otherwise would be.

Looks like a solid 64 to me.
Easy 65/66 without the hit. Can't see less than 64 even with the pearl necklace...
It's a 64 to me.
I looked at this again and had a different thought. If you count the total number of marks, the number is quite low. However, these few marks are all in the wrong places. Very interesting coin to grade.

63+ if it grades, however the second picture makes it look like it could be wiped/cleaned on the cheek. Obviously I can't know for sure but I think there's a very good chance it comes back as Unc Details.
I assume you are referring to the lines on the lower part of the cheek. These are from the planchet and are quite common in that area on Morgans. I have seen similar marks on coins as high as MS68 so those will not be grade limiting.
The more I look at it, I think 64 is more likely, maybe even a 64+. If I reduce the image size to that of the real coin, the mark is much less distracting and the overall beauty of the coin and the incredibly clean fields shine through.
Got to be either a 63 or 64.
Not a chance it's a 62 or a 65.

It's been my experience lately that the grading of Morgan's has tightened significantly over the last few years, this makes sense when you you realize the need for more revenue by the tpgs and the MILLIONS of common date Morgan's previously graded.
Use your voucher and get back to me when it's graded.

I agree. 63 or 64

The fields are great, but the face has hits.
64+ here.

Nice clean reverse, but the hits on the focal areas of Liberty might hold this to a 63.
63 obv...65 rev that's how I see it...And sticking with it.
64 today

I'll bet she comes back a 65 and possibly 65PL.
The reverse is easily a 66 and possibly 67.
Nice Coin. Could not get out of the feed stream quick enough, just case of the wrong place at the wrong time.
64..nice coin and looks like it has great luster. Decent strike but I think too many hits on the cheek and the large ones on the neck will limit the grade. The reverse is very nice, couple of marks such as the one above the second S in States as well as to the right of the right wing but not major distractions and probably enhanced in the photos. So that is my semi uneducated guess

Interesting about the lines on the cheek. I wasn't really sure what they are but they aren't seen from every angle, that's why I included photos with different lighting.
Definitely will. Right now I only have two coins lined up to use my voucher, just need to find two more that are also worth it to send in on it.

Solid MS-64 for me.
The lines are called "roller lines" and are from the rollers rolling the stock silver into planchet strips. Sometimes the strike doesn't totally obliterate them.
Very attractive patina on that coin. As others wrote, this will probably make it grade MS 64. Too much chatter on the neck, below the eye and on the nose for anything higher. The reverse is stunning.

63-64 that hit on the neck is nasty but it's a great coin. Very nice

63 tops...no way above that IMO
