Thanks for ALL of your posts.......but if all of your posts are focused on toning, or lack thereof, would seem to me to be that you are trying to redifine our hobby in your terms. Maybe some new ideas, or comments. based upon your years with us?

Probably find that a few of them have a majority of the "disagrees" since the forum started. 2 of those have quite a few "disagrees" across the board now, on more than 1 forum member.

I've also noticed that some are going out of their way to go months back on old threads, that haven't seen the light of day in many months, not to comment, but just to disagree. Says something about the (lack of) character to folks that do that, imho.

The irony here is that Bochiman has "disagreed" with 5 or 6 of my posts, with no supporting commentary.

Your posts were ones I disagreed with but felt no need to tell you why you were wrong. You had opinions/actions that I disagreed with.

With RickO, and myself, and maybe others, you seem to hump the button.
It honestly doesn't matter to me....rather, it just speaks to your character if (a) you feel a need to retaliate for whatever perceived slight you have, and/or (b) for me, I know there are trolls and just move on. If there is something in my post that can be looked at multiple ways, I understand people disagreeing. That's all good and dandy. For stating "I agree with XXX's post that has nothing to really debate...it's just an innocuous statement" and getting a disagree? Well, doesn't matter...just interesting to see who the petty folks are

RickO, you are correct. BU coins were the standard of our hobby for many years. As a young man I completed my Peace Dollar set around 1962-1963. I tried to make some of them BU, but they were body bagged a few years ago. I have come to find a little toning on old coins adds to their credibility. Even God's 1804 Dollar has some toning.

It's an exchange forum. Agree or Disagree all you like, it's called free speech. If you do it out of personal spite, you show your true colors (no pun intended). Here is the thing, it will not be long before all will be able to discern for themselves who is being petty and who is taking the high road. Ricko has always been a solid contributor to this forum, and therefore should not be subject to anyone's pettiness. Disagree all you like folks, it is just one person's opinion and you know the saying about opinions. :-)

The ability to make viewable who likes/disagrees etc with a post was something that I targeted early after the release for an update. I agreed it made anonymous trolling too easy and was a dynamic I thought made the community more divideable. Glad there is transparency now.
