Order # 03485, for five sets (noon until 12:13 with glitches)
Another frustrating, irritating, experience with the upgraded Mint servers and ordering system. I don't mind waiting due to the flood of orders, but to be kicked off five times due to "server connection reset" is totally bogus. At least, when I clicked "try again", I didn't lose any of the data I input.
I'm also a currency collector and would love to get the dollar bill shown on the Mint ad!
Question: usually the BEP prints special runs of FRNs, and I'm assuming that this "911" leading serial # was printed by them.
Will be interesting to see if this sells out in a short period of time. I think the Native American series is fairly collectible and even with 90k the demand will be high.
Took forever! Got order acknowledgment email and C.C. email saying it was hit for $79.70. Don't know my order number as it doesn't show in my order history. Thank you Mint!
Just found order number in email USM03488xxx, but still not in order history!

The "Early Rush" amounted to a bunch of worms hitting the wall of the damn!
I was logged in at 11:55, even had the Set up on my screen. But at 12:00:01 when I hit refresh to update the screen for entering an order amount, All Hell Broke Loose and ot was a 30 minute melee that amounted to logging in, refreshing pages, countless "Page Cannot be Displayed", logging in, refreshing, ad nauseum.
I finally switched over to Mozilla at 12:30 and was able to place an order.
So, in effect, you getting an order in at 12:25 trumped my waiting to place an order at 12:00:10.
What was wrong with this picture?
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
I was not going to buy any, but as others have mentioned, not much downside risk. Logged in with no problem at 12:50pm (EDT), ordered 5 sets and had a confirmed order number at 12:56. Order # 034932xx
I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector. Recipient of the coveted "You Suck" award, April 2009 for cherrypicking a 1833 CBHD LM-5, and April 2022 for a 1835 LM-12, and again in Aug 2012 for picking off a 1952 FS-902.
First 15+ minutes were the old crapshoot with the mint. You were either lucky and got through, or you errored out and had to redo a lot....over and over.
After about 15 or so minutes, if you went in fresh, any browser, it seemed to work normally.

So, about 8500 orders so far. Assuming 4/order, that's 33K sets in the first hour, or about 150 orders/minute.
I think we can eliminate the robo-call theory. (Though it really felt like a DDOS attack starting at 11:59...)

Low downside risk... and a chance to play the lottery with the note serial numbers!
The 2014 NAD was struck at Denver. This year the NAD is... Struck at West Point, New York, with an enhanced uncirculated finish, the reverse (tails) design of the Native American $1 Coin features a Mohawk ironworker reaching for an I–beam that is swinging into position, rivets on the left and right side of the border, and a high elevation view of the city skyline in the background. Inscriptions are “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “$1,” and “MOHAWK IRONWORKERS.”

Sometimes when it's really busy like that it makes me feel like I've fallen and I can't get up!

If these are still available after a week of sales, I'll bet they remove HH limits, like the MoD silver sets.

No counter just estimate from order numbers reported
Guess the problems have to do with all the shoving at the starting line.

Not totally true ... I was paying customers a $10 profit per order today ... about a 12% return in a hour
