I was lucky enough to pick this up on eBay in Australia last week where it went unattributed. I am quite partial to crusty counter-marked colonial coins and this one fit the bill perfectly. I'm fairly certain it's a Mozambique 1889 Rupee (KM#53.2) with the later PM countermark on a Indian 1840C Rupee (KM#458).
