    Hey guys,

Just checking in - bought six blasters at Walmart last evening. Only new product I open each year so I relish the process: sitting in front of a game (usually spring training but more likely WBC this year) over the weekend and ripping the packs slowly (three blasters per day). Looking forward to it (with delayed gratification!)

Will report my results later. Have fun, fellow Heritage fans!

Kevin, I do need them. Let's work something out for them.

After 1 box, I have a Profar Venezuelan for trade. I think I'll do the purple refractor thing....it was the purple "hot box". I got the Bundy, Profar, Trout, and Darvish. I'll get a trade list together after the whole case. I'm going to try to stretch out the rip over a few days to make it last though.

That Profar Venz is a great pull. Matt is our resident Rangers collector check with him on it. I get in line if you can't work something out with him. I might have some purples for trade, let me know when you have a list.

Here is a list of every confirmed Venezuelan black back I can find. I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that every card has been paralleled, but that is far from confirmed. As others rip, please feel free to add to this list as you get them. It'd be nice to see if we can confirm the existence of every card.

Also, for what it's worth I see several of the "action" variations listed with Venezuelan backs, but haven't seen any of the regular base card with a Venezuelan back. I'd like to confirm that both variations are available.

    Did I hit the jackpot????

So, when I sat down to rip my boxes... The very first pack, of the very first box, I pulled a Harper SP... so I thought, this might just be a good rip.

So, now it's a few hours later, and I'm starting to sort through my cards. I just get done with 400-500. I get done with that...

And I'm looking at the stack, curious why one card in the stack sticks out so much... the edges on this card in the middle is a brighter white than the rest. It's my Harper!

So I look at it closely... and BAM, that's why!!!!

    image

I don't see that any of these have sold on eBay... and only one listed... for $999.99 or Best Offer... what to do, what to do?!?!?!

That error on the Harper card is the error that appeared in the 1964 set.

Happened on the card #440 of some guy named Clemente.

I do not think the error was ever corrected.

Is that one of the SSP ? or are they all like that? I lose track of all the errors and variations

As far as the the Harper - Senators, did they just airbrush the uniform? and call it an SSP, or is that the actual uniform...wasn't sure if anyone had an opinion on that.

My Harpers all have "Washington" as the last team played for, not Pittsburfh.....so i would say, yeah, its the SSP.

I don't know about everyone else... but in all six hobby boxes I opened...

SPs, SSP Variations, Auto's, GU, etc. were all the third to last card in the pack (and all the In Action SSP Variations were actually flipped)

Potentially helpful tip if you're busting hobby!

Just noticed on page 1 of this thread, is Josh Hamilton in the Rangers uniform. I opened a pack from Wal-Mart and he's for the Angels.

When I looked at the card, I thought, that pose looked familar....(it was on this thread).

Wonder if that card is floating around (the Rangers).

Just a side note, don't have a scanner for comparison.

In previous years when that happened the Chrome card was with the original team, since Topps just photoshopped the new uniform on the player. 2001 Alex Rodriguez comes to mind.

I didn't ever remember seeing an airbrush change from a card they used on the sell sheet.

I will be interested to see which uniform shows up on the chrome.

He's with the Angels. The only cards he appears with the Rangers are the Homer and RBI League Leader cards, which appear to be the same photo (non photoshopped) as his base card.

    Beckett Article Link

According to this the Venezuelans are for every card and some of the In Action Parallels - I would have to think for all right? The minis are only for 100 of the 500 cards. Any preliminary checklists out there? I'm 10 boxes through my 12 case rip and haven't pulled a mini. Are they falling about 1 per case? Just looking at the Rangers minis that are on ebay they seem to be the same checklist as the Chrome cards.
