--- Series #2, 2016 --- this was supposed to be a cake-walk for Golden State as they set an NBA regular season record at 73-9 and only lost twice at home. they were widely proclaimed as the Best Team of All-Time and after going up 3-1 in the Finals and starting the celebration they lost the final three games, two of them at home including Game 7. that had never been done before in NBA history.
--- Series #3, 2017 --- in an attempt to improve an already stacked roster, Golden State signed Kevin Durant in the off-season. the move paid off as the Warriors won the Western Conference, going 12-0 heading into the finals, and the "Rubber Match" was set. already up 2-0 at Cleveland in Game 3, the Warriors prevailed in a close game, 118-113, when Cleveland went cold, I don't think they scored during the final 3+ minutes of play and the result was a Warriors 11-0 run to the finish line. Cleveland won Game 4 to avoid the sweep but the Warriors went home up 3-1 and finished the Cavs in five Games.

I bought an antenna the other day but we are in a poor location, being equi-distant from the two main broadcasters that would be putting out a good signal. option two was to purchase the least expensive cable package and then cancel but they only offer "12 months" packages for new subscribers.
the upside is that I'm 1-0 at my buddies place, we watched a Boston game together. I think I'll need to take a nap after work today before going over for the night's festivities.

we have a customer who works for ESPN and does games for the Cavs, Indians, Browns, OSU and occasionally he gets to Cincy. we are always working him for tickets and he was just in the store to look at some jewelry. today we tried but he can't guarantee us any seats for the games here
From what has been pointed out on talk radio he usually refs the 3rd of 4th game in a series and the majority of the time,the team thats down in the series usually wins that game. I can't remember ever hearing that he ref'd games late in a series. I don't think they make public who will be officiating certain games beyond the next game scheduled.

The East games were starting at 8:30,the West games were starting at 9. Nothing has changed aside from Kimmel before the pregame show.
