Been buying stuff for my new pickup, on ebay, with the 8% offers lately. Not much in the coins nor bullion (bullion in non-bullion departments, obviously).
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Be careful in requesting the site to add your bullion items that are EB buck eligible. From the site: "The items listed on this site qualify for eBay bucks as of the time of their submission. If you find that an item is no longer eligible, visit the item's page here and click the report button."
Bullion Items reported to ebay as no longer eligible for ebay bucks are likely to bring attention, from ebay, on that seller's listings. Any of the seller's bullion item listings that do offer buck eligibility will likely bring harsh action from ebay.

This is disturbing. After receiving virtually all of the offers for the past year, I've been skipped by the last 3 including this one. I can only think it is because I have made several purchases over the past couple months without being enticed...

He means report the item on his own site so he can remove it from the table. Not report it to eBay. And most everything listed (or all of it) are items from the major bullion dealers. eBay knows they are off listed and I’m sure has arrangements with the big dealers about the level that can happen. I actually talked to a mid tier dealer at a show (50k feedback) and he said eBay themselves were in charge of categorizing their items...a special arrangement eBay does for big sellers.
I’d also say I’ve never heard of anyone receiving ‘harsh action’ from eBay for mislisting something outside of bullion and allowing their sellers to receive eBay bucks. I don’t think the volume is high enough for it to matter to them. And 99% of sellers I’ve asked have been happy to do it.
Just had the 8% (Don't see 10% anymore, like they used to do), so the 6%, unless there were something that I ABSOLUTELY NEEDED RIGHT NOW, which there isn't, just doesn't get my juices flowing.
Yeah, it's only 2% difference, but it does seem to be a slap in the face right before the holidays.

Got it, I just have to compare the the 2% vs. Ebates difference depending on the category.
I used to use fatwallet but they changed awhile back and I haven't liked the change.
A few others I have dallied with but haven't found any that are simple to view and informative. I kind of miss them.

....I've been holding off on smoe purchases checking daily for ebucks. No joy, so I ended up buying smoe Christmas stuff yesterday and this morning I see the 10% advert. Sad face. Not a total loss, I ended up buying a nice 1907 Saint I've been eyeballing. That's a Hundy right there. Early Christmas for me.
Wish there were a way to filter on applicable items with ebucks (say, from a particular seller, like Apmex, since they list in bullion as well.....)......sometimes, the searches don't seem to work well and I end up endlessly scrolling and checking.....

search is an abomination now. Have you seen how you get stuck up blind alleys when working through categories?
For instance I want 90% half dollars so I go to US coins > half dollars and type "face" as a search term. It says so many in kennedy so many in franklin walker etc. But it shows nothing in barber. If I laboriously work my way to barber and search on face I get 100 hits that were not picked up the first time. If I try to refine the search it bumps me up a category to halfs proper and shows me walkers kennedys franklins and no barbers but now there is no path to the barber category . I have to use the browser back button .
Also its resetting to best match all the time , also showing a top level view with those idiotic banners that resemble an old auctiva slideshow. Also if I am doing ending soonest it randomly changes to newly listed.
It worked fine years ago and they have continuously tweaked it until its almost like throwing darts at a dart board.

I snagged six ASE tubes from the same seller @323 ea after the 10% (three purchases of two tubes ea.). Two hours later he refunded the purchases with no communication. Appears he sold 15 tubes and is starting to get negs from other buyers. I don't neg under these circumstances.
