I love ms liberty's portrait & the small eagle on coins like this vs those of the "newer" ones. Anyone else agree?
Furthermore grades on such coins are not relevant. Looks do.

@KollectorKing,
Do you, by chance, live in the Show-Me State?
Not even close.
Blame it on smart phones that can take pics & post them easily.
How 'bout some gold...
Gold is always welcome.

Mark - that looks like it lived with the 1797 for most of its life. I love seeing truly original early dollars...

Nothin' earlier than 94?

If you care to go "across the pond" this piece has an interesting date.
And this cute little coin, which is a little bigger than a gold dollar was issued for George III's grandfather, George I.

Does anyone have an answer as to why the Spanish colonies issued so few four reale coins? The denomination is scarce today.

Okay I am cheating here, I don't have a coin from the 18th century, but I do have alot of tokens, so I show 3 here - different die states of the same one.
Best, SH
Don't worry, someone will be along shortly to chastise you.
