I got one set this morning at 7:32. Took about one minute, checked again at 7:33, unavailable. I couldn't resist and had some extra cash from a CRH score. I just like coins!

Only 1 Tracking Number.
BUT, two charges to my card.
I do not understand why they would do it this way.
I only see one charge to the card.
2 charges. One for $24.90 and one for $279.90
1 for $6.95 coin and $17.95 shipping charges
1 for $279.90 for the LE sets
That's just an enumerated bill not two separate charges. It's no different than your grocery bill with 37 items listed and one charge at the end. Do you consider your grocery bill to be "37 charges"?
Wrong. My grocery bill only lists the card being used once, not after every item. It also says payment methods, plural. Not payment method, singular.

Oh, I see what you're talking about. That's kind of odd. That is the same card?
Hate UPS sig required....I'm hardly ever home to sign and it's a pain to kill a day and sit and wait. I presently have a coin coming on third attempt....and I won't be home again. It's a $80 purchase....sig required? Really?

You can supposedly have the package routed to a UPS store or even a neighbor with special instructions. Probably an upcharge, though...
At least with FedEx, you can go to the distribution center and pick it up.
Yup....but the only redirect delivery location is a 40-50 minute drive and on a similar purchase last week I did pay the five bucks to have the delivery changed to a day I would be home...they accepted my cash and attempted delivery the next day anyway. My neighbor was checking my house and signed for that one. Not gonna waste another five bucks.
Note: I did contact the seller and they requested UPS return the package to them and they would send it back to me via USPS so it WILL be in my mailbox some day

UPS has never upcharged me for changing delivery to my local UPS store. Sometimes they can't do it, depending on how the shipper designated the shipment. But whenever I could, it was always free.
Hold for Pickup – UPS will deliver the package to a selected UPS Customer Center and call the recipient for pickup, usually by 8:30 a.m.
on the scheduled day of delivery.
– Recipient will be required to present a government-issued photo ID.
– If a recipient’s representative is picking up the package, a letter on company letterhead authorizing release
or a company ID may be required.
– Packages not picked up within five business days will be returned to the shipper.
– Hold for Pickup service is not available for Saturday Delivery.
– For each package, customers must prepare a label including the words “Hold for Pickup,” the recipient’s name
and telephone number and the full address of the UPS Customer Center.
– Apply a UPS Hold for Pickup label above the address label on the package. Labels can be ordered from ups.com
or by calling 1-800-PICK-UPS® (1-800-742-5877).
– Visit ups.com or call 1-800-PICK-UPS® (1-800-742-5877) for the most convenient UPS Hold for Pickup location. No charge
Yup, that's what I thought and that was my plan but I was only offered the main distribution site in RI (I'm in southern MA) and it's a pain to get to. I would have LOVED to be able to pick it up at the center near me. It's the "over 21' thing I assume because I signed MANY times online for other sig required packages. Anyway...they diverted it and it should arrive USPS eventually
Just opened my (1) set! Arrived in a 14" x 10" x 4 1/2" box! US mints version of a rattler I suppose- don't know why they bothered to put in those three loose sheets of packing paper. Could have been one helluva puzzle to put together. Luckily no damage!
Opened my box of 2 today. Wow, these are big sets! Almost 8 inches square. Nice presentation too. But several coins were oriented oddly. So I tipped the set up to try to straighten them and the capsules ALL FELL OUT on my lap, then bounced all over the FLOOR. Holy Carp Batman -- no friction fit on these! The capsules are just resting in their slots, but they seem secure so no silver clanged out and no damage. Whew!! Handle with care!
...and the SAE's a sexy lady!!! Hubba Hubba

Looks like there going to come out with the individual graded sets but its going to cost big bucks to buy one check the prices out. I don't think these will be popular due to the costs.

Nice move I am watching their sales to see how long they last. I might end up getting one.
Well, I bought the ones with the trolley label so it matches the Congratulations eagles I have. I logged this morning to show a fellow collector/co-worker, and they weren't on the website. I emailed Modern Coin and asked about it. They responded quickly, telling me they were not on the site anymore because I bought the last two with that label. And mind you, I went online and bought them literally two minutes after I got the email they were available. I'm sure the others will last, just thought it was interesting.
Sets delivered today. I must say these are quite attractive sets. No coins out of place from delivery and all look exquisite. Kennedy and ASE look insane.

Yes I like the trolley label myself. You must of been real quick cause I don't they were there when I got the alert email from MCM! Congrats on the fast and swift buy!!!!! I seen your post last night just been to busy this Saturday to post.
My two sets came in yesterday and I'm pretty happy. All clean DCam coins with varying degrees of frost.
I wish the Eagles I received were heavy frost since essentially that's the coin I had paid for. The mirrors on one of the Kennedy coins are SOOOO WATERY.
Two thumbs up here for the mint for a nice set, and for giving the little guy a chance to grab two before the market makers do their thing

They are also doing a Silver Reverse Proof Set next year. I wonder if that will include the eagle and be the hard on to get.
There's no guarantee that any of them will be "hard" to get. They have not announced mintage limits on any of these products. They could well be unlimited as normal proof sets and silver proof sets.

In case no one noticed, it looks like there will be two general proof ASE releases in 2018, one from West Point, the other from San Francisco.
The S-Mint ASE will not be in the 2018 Congrats set, but looks like it will be in the 2018 LESP.
If that's the case (assuming the S-Mint is unlimited like the WP proof), the 2017-S should retain its value...
(This post duplicated in the Congrats set thread.)
I doubt next years offerings will have any impact on the value of anything offered this year. If you collect ASE's you collect ASE's. At best there's a secondary effect when something gets hot and people feel like they need to jump on the bandwagon. If the 2018 ASE's are HOT HOT HOT, it will more likely impact the price of 2019 ASE's.

I want them to offer 5,000,000 S mint proofs to make this year's 125k seems like a paltry amount.

Nope, my fear was they were going to duplicate the S-Mint ASE in the same sets. (I've mentioned that in the congrats set thread someplace.)
Should they have only released 125K 2018-S ASE's, it certainly would have affected this year's issue.

Has any body picked up a 70 graded LE Silver Dollar yet? I am still thinking of sending mine in for grading but its expensive.
Don't send it in. Waste of money. Much cheaper for the big guys to slab them. And if you buy a 70 set, you know it's a 70 set. If you get a few 69s in there, you're going to end up going out and buying a 70 set anyway.
Here's what PCGS told me when I called them. You can send in just your ASE to get graded, but since they were in the Congratulations set as well as the LESP set, you have to send in the entire set of coins if you want the First Strike/LE designation with a note for PCGS to return the other coins in the set.
Seems like a lot of hassle as jmlanzaf says to risk getting some 69s back. I already squirreled away a couple of PCGS 70DCAM ASEs with the Congrats set designation on them, I think those should be winners!

My 2 sets arrived in a big box this week. I opened the box on Friday to check out the coins. Wow all coins are so beautiful.
Will keep both sets in Mint holder.

We may have already seen those cancelled sets sold...
But they're pretty much gone...
