buying coins from the mint is the same mindset as a losing gambler. well, the mint took me for hundreds on the last offering, so i'll try to make up some of that money by buying this new offering

I actually got the product reminder for the EU set 10 minutes after it was "unavailable". LOL. You'd think they'd send the reminder's 10 minutes before not after.

Except that MCM, at the very least, has a wholesale buy price on these.

Wow nice! I think I might just Fed Ex mine to PCGS unopened box, and pay for the 1st day of Issue and its will probably cost me $140.00 PER SET. I might get lucky and they all come back PCGS-70!!!!!
Or they might all come back PCGS-68 or less!!!!!
Then I could claim I got $280.00 per set into these !!!!!
After all I just got $1,100.00 deposited into my bank account today all cause I am an Alaskan. So money is NO PROBLEM! Its all free!

What part of Alaska do you live in? I've always wanted to move up there. Last place in America where life is as it should be as an American!
I believe there is a simple reason why these sets did not sell out today. Anyone that wants to know the answer can send Justin an email at justin@monstercoinmart.com and if you have been nice to me and Justin in the past (only joking), he will tell you the "secret answer" in a private email back to you

I'm torn on whether to buy this or not. But since it hasn't sold out as of yet, 6 hours + since going on sale ... maybe it's best that I don't buy it. Since I'm not an ASE collector, and not a flipper. I think I'm good without this one.
Happened to be on the mint website a little after 9:00 PDT and the set was available. So I ordered 2, everything processed and got the mint order confirmation. This morning they cancelled the order and sent an email later stating
Dear Valued Customer,
We received your order for the Limited Edition 2017 Silver Proof Set. Unfortunately, there was a system error that allowed orders for this product to be placed before the 12pm ET launch. Your order has been canceled and we encourage you to reorder today beginning at 12pm ET. We apologize for the inconvenience.
in the past, they have had clock issues with me as well.
i was on clearly after noon, but they claimed 3 of my orders were laced before noon. i complained to DC and they wrote back that one of the system's clock was not set properly.

Yeah, they have wording someplace that says any order placed before the designated sales time will be cancelled.
This will be interesting. The last 50,000 offering with a household limit of (2) was the reverse proof 2015 Kennedy dollar? That was offered on the 16th of September 2015, a Wednesday, and sold out on what day? Was on back order on the 20th. How many (days) for the ASE?

I am actually surprised they are still available. I am an ASE collector, but got a bunch of congrats sets. How many 2017-S ASE's do I need? (I don't do labels, and never bought the LESP set.)
I was actually on-line and had one in my cart and decided not to buy. After that I thought they'd sell out in three minutes and flip for 5 times the original price...

Were you able to order 2 this morning still or did the system say that you already ordered your limit of 2 even though they were cancelled?
I wonder how many cancellations and returns this non sell-out today will generate? I bet some of the on fence buyers will get cold feet and try to bale on their orders. Just sayin..............

Maybe, but with a HH limit of 2, it won't be anything like EU sets.
With the limit of 2 sets, I wouldn't expect this set to sell out for a couple of days, at least.

Not much flipping potential with a HH of 2 anyway. I don't see too many people canceling the 1 or 2 sets they ordered. Is $140 or $280 even worth worrying about for a set like this one? I do like the idea of the ASE in this package vs the cardboard folder used for the Congratulations set.

I like this set better than the "1" coin Congratulation set. Only wish that the silver SAC is also minted for this set.

So it looks like this won't be a sellout after all. It won't be long before the household limit is lifted and the mint is hoping we buy more.
I think it sells out... it's one of the rarest silver eagles, after all. Probably take another day or so max. If they lift the limit, it sells out fast.

if it were such a hot issue, there would only be congrats set eagles on ebay for stupid money. right now, the ones on ebay bay cost less than the price of admission here.

No way the HHL are lifted on this. It would need to be around for a while, IMO I don't see that happening.
