the bioncs are backwards
the root of the eagle's wings are in a bad perspective with relation to the lay of the feathers and at that location
the eagle needs beefier wings
the legs attach too high
otoh, the mint will take a design and make alterations and DC knows that. It won't necessarily eliminate the design.
I do worry about the plain text on the reverse might.
a. Nice representation of a US Springfield Rifle, Model 1903, Cal. 30-06.
b. Looks like an 88th Division Patch on his left shoulder.

Listed under Special Event Tokens on Dan's website. Obtained from a very kind gentleman who was able to stop by his table at the Denver ANA. Can't say as I have ever seen anything quite like it....
