Looks like there was a quick sale of a few left overs from the Vintage Die O/S. I picked up the 1884-CC off center struck on strong host coin and the 1884-S off center strike on 1884 Morgan this morning. They appear to be sold out again.

There were one of each that were returned for a refund (not because they were defective in some way).

Well I was the lucky enough to visit your site at the right time. Thanks for making them available.
CCN has been having real issues with their network the past month. Said that they got hacked.
I haven't been over to see if it's functional in a while.

CCN is the worst sh*t show in the biz. They’ve been hacked for a couple years evidently, even when I got an order through they f’d it up and shorted me. I don’t understand how they stay afloat with their terrible listings and poor service. Bite your nails if you get an order in…

That's unfortunate. They seem to do a lot of work with Daniel Carr and some of the ASE's and these half dollars look interesting. In most cases there are hundreds made so maybe they will show up in other places.

I have not had any direct contact with CCN, so I would not say that I "work with them". But I do have a repeat customer who orders commissioned items from me and that customer apparently makes the deals with CCN (and maybe others ? I'm not sure).

That would be nice. I will definitely try to track down the one he just did and get a few. I am also hoping for another gold creation. A Classic Head or Capped Bust gold O/S would be amazing.

He just did a Proof 1948 Franklin for a distributor. I would guess (314 made) that it will show up somewhere in the near future. I posted a photo of it above in an earlier post.
Ok, I was trying not to use the ugly term: "gr--d"
Even if I may be able to afford a whole run of coins and then keep or flip, I would rather other collectors get their fair share and so have always gone forward that way. I've not sold any Carr items and have been a solid customer for 10 years I am sure buying one at a time of what strikes my fancy.
Love that Milled British (1830-1960) Well, just Love coins, period.
In line with this thinking, I'd love Dan to make the following. Granted, some of these aren't just one year off from the major rarity date, but they are close.
1874-S Half Dime
1874-S Seated Liberty Dollar
1879-CC Twenty Cent
1886 Trade Dollar Proof
1891-S Barber Dime
What do people think? What other ultra rarities could Dan make?

I think Dan does a great job of letting collectors get their fair share. Many offerings are available for a month or longer and do not have capped mintages. Very few items are not minted to demand. It's not like the US Mint where the 2021 Peace Dollar sells out in 90 seconds.
I regret not getting the 1805 dollar. I don’t know what held me back but by the time I decided to jump in it was to late.
.
I also like the idea of seated dollar, twenty cent and proof trade dollar but these might be to good to be true.
I’d be in on all for sure and one day I’ll splurge for the 1805 dollar.

It's hard to get everything. But for the 1805 dollar, someone out there got over 25 1805 dollars so perhaps Dan could ask that person if selling one would be an option?
I missed out on the 1934 Double Eagle because I could only get one big piece at the time and went for the “MCMVI” (1906) Saint-Gaudens, Winged Liberty Concept Double Eagle.

I hope Dan can do these. Some of them are very difficult to do like the Stella, but there should be enough cull coins for these other ones to do, even if people have to submit their own.
Here's my 1805 dollar. I'm glad Dan struck it while I visited. It was a great experience to see the transformation of this coin!

It was a big Bust Dollar collector from what I heard. You had to submit your own coin which I think stopped a lot of people. On the other hand, this person probably had a lot accumulated.

That is amazing that someone got 25 when only 28 of ones like yours were made. They basically have everyone available. WOW.

That leaves you as one of the only people to have it. Daniel always keeps one for himself, then the person with 25, you and one other person. That is a rarity for sure. Congrats. I wonder if that person will ever sell some off. I know there is the more available version struck on a Silver Dollar.

I’m not sure if 25 is an exact number. It just came up in conversation.
Still, if someone has that many, it may be easier to convince that person to sell one or more; and if they do come out, they could flood the market if there are a lot.

If all 25 came out at once they would sell at the asking price in minutes. The DC crowd seems like a hungry group

It depends on what the asking price is
I've seen very rare Dan Carr items sit for a while when the asking price is high. There's definitely a sweet spot in pricing with Dan's pieces on the secondary market.

Can't we force him to print more out since its so much in demand why not produce about 1000 of each so everybody can have one? That seems fair. Maybe have a court order have Dan have to produce these coins as part of a right to Universal Daniel Carr coins and we unionize or Courtize!

All have been shipped.
The shipping email notifications are sent automatically when I mark the order as "shipped" in the store's database.
But if it was a mailed-in order (payment by check with host coin), then there is no order in the store's database to mark as "shipped". In some cases I might not even have or know the buyer's email address.
WOO-HOO 😃 that’s good news! My beater old hag Liberty has been reincarnated into a sexy young lady, will post her incarnation when arrives. Thank you Sir Dan!

Would it be possible to have the USPS Tracking number added to the ship notice when the order ships? I don't know if that could be set-up to be automatic so it doesn't cost you a lot of time to do it manually?

Well, just Love coins, period.
If you didn't get the coin direct from Dan then you need the flippers,,,,,,,,,,
Anyone who sells a coin is a flipper,,,,

Some of my best Moonlight Mint items were sourced from flippers.

That is amazing that someone got 25 when only 28 of ones like yours were made. They basically have everyone available. WOW.

It was a big Bust Dollar collector from what I heard. You had to submit your own coin which I think stopped a lot of people. On the other hand, this person probably had a lot accumulated.

Could it be?......could it really be!??? Nah........can't be, maybe.......you think???

Are your double eagle overstrikes shipping? I think mine was the last to send in ~~ have not gotten any shipping notice yet.
It appears that my CAL O/S has shipped. I was looking at my informed delivery on USPS.com
