I can get behind that. The last submission I got they said this was cleaned.

Check your facts. The company website is more up to date. Turn around times are about 3/4 of the way down the page on the right hand side. FYI - the week of LB, the estimate was 23 days so they in fact came in UNDER.

    GRADES WERE ABOUT RIGHT:

OUT OF 15 COINS, ID SAY 2 WERE A WEE BIT CONSERVATIVE M BUT THEN 2-3 OTHERS WERE A BIT LIBERAL.

    CONSERVATIVE WERE TWO LINCOLNS

LIBERAL WERE TWO TYPE COINS SHIELD AND SEATED

It's the last two weeks of the quarter. Don't they usually try to get out as much business as possible to meet numbers?
  • One of my two regular submissions which was logged in on 8/3/16 posted today. An1817 CBH single leaf was attributed as an O106. It should have been an O106a. I called customer service and the lady stated that it will be checked for the correct attribution. The second 1832 CBH which should have been an O113a was attributed as an O118. All the stars are drawn to the edge and some of the letters on the reverse are drawn to the edge. I put these varieties on the submission form. Now for another wait!

I was pleased. Grade was pretty much right on what I thought if maybe a tiny bit conservative, but wasn't 100% confident they wouldn't bag it.

I also had a problem with incorrect attributions. But I'm giving up sending any more business their way until they can prove things are under control again.

but, but, but, we were told NGC had stellar turnaround. So you get the same treatment, for an inferior product that will garner less in the resale market.

FYI - there are complaint threads ATS about ancient and world turnaround times as well.

Maybe the coin market is just doing better than everyone thinks.

My Redfield's and GSA's received at NGC last Monday were graded and shipped today. Grades were mostly where I thought with a couple of the Redfields going low and a GSA going high. That is very fast for these. The regular coin order has not been graded yet. It was logged in last Tuesday.

Why do you care about this thread? You don't send coins in for grading and taking a quick peek at Yahoo CLCT message board, you claim you sold out of the stock. You decided to sell AFTER the 20% drop? Great timing. It is also funny how you are getting owned over there. Cheers!
  • Getting a glimmer of hope here. We had some 7-25 eco lots drop yesterday. At least were getting closer to the estimated times. Even 10-15 business days feels better at this point. Fingers crossed we can eventually get back to 20-30 days

Over at Yahoo CLCT board here is what he said. This after chastising anyone who complained at all here.

After numerous attempts at email and calling the company with no one getting back to me, I have sold 90% of my holdings.

If you read his post, which I just did, it would appear he lost just under a hundred grand in 3 weeks. Let's give the little guy a break.

Well, you claimed to have 20000 shares. Before earnings, CLCT was north of $22. Yesterday when you sold, it was $18. My mistake, it looks like you "only" lost about 80K-90K in the last few weeks.

You always say to me, stick to what you know. May I ask what you should stick to? I certainly hope you don't say stock picking/timing.

So? My Apple stock went up 11% last week. Win some, lose some. If all my investments only made a CAGR of 25% I would have retired at 40 instead of 52.

I have a feeling the dividend may be cut. The BOD meets next week for the first time in this fiscal year. If they are going to cut or suspend that is when they will do it. The slow turnaround times are not translating to increased certs as they have in years past. If they cut or eliminate, I will be a buyer at a much lower price. In the meantime, I will try and "annoy" you as much as possible as it seems I have free rent inside your head.

DB, please correct your lie. I have no idea who CA5MAN is. If I was giving you Hell anywhere else, I would gladly tell you.

If anyone wants a little entertainment, I just scanned Yahoo message board on CLCT. It would appear DB's entire existence is to brag about his stock skills and call everyone on Earth childish names. He really needs to go back to work so he has something better to do with his time.

YAHOO MESSAGE BOARD FOR CLCT STOCK:

PS, CA5MAN, he is claiming we are the same person over there also. image

so you are saying that you, CA5MAN, and the yahoo poster all use the same exact terminology and that is purely coincidence? Busted. Be a man and own it. I see you have already started to delete your yahoo posts to cover the evidence.

so why is that person on yahoo also mentioning the money I "lost", first saying $100K, then $80k? Same as you? There are numerous other tells like the Titanic mention. yeah, you're right. Probably just coincidence.

FYI - money is relative. "all that money" may be an enormous amount to you but not to me. And it is only $80K if you figure on the theoretical high point where maybe 100 shares traded. A real trader doesn't think like that. I'm sure some of your coins are down from their peak valuation on their CoinFacts prices. Are you sulking because of that? I hope not. I post all my trades in real-time. I have many wins and losses. Maybe even 50/50, or something like 52/48. I try and keep my losses small and my gains large. Get out of losing positions, don't let gains become losses. It's good advice and has worked for me. Anyway, you seem so uptight for a coin guy. How come you aren't having fun with your coins?

    To get back on topic(?):

Reporting that yesterday (9/20/16), I received grades on a 6 coin Regular submission that was logged in on 8/23/16. By my unofficial count, that was Day 19.

The interesting thing might be when I receive grades on the OTHER submission logged in the same day. We know they don't necessarily take them in order, so the difference might be telling about what kind of variability exists.
