It was announced today at the FUN luncheon. Fantastic News for the entire collecting community!
Well done PCGS!
For those that have paid, I understand that PCGS will be contacting members to work on a resolution.

That's great news.
I don't have access at my subscription level now, but I used to really like the info it gives.

Also announced you can specify a "+" on regrades for the everyman set - no more threat of going from AU58 to MS62.
I asked Don after the luncheon of they were going to do the same for the low ball set - PO1+......
Thanks PCGS for all that you do to improve the numismatic experience for us collectors.

"Collectors will also have the opportunity to have their coins slabbed with a "retro” green label that mimics the label found in the popular “Old Green Holder” from the early years of PCGS"
I wish that they would bring back the solid gaskets too!

Mine renews February 5, 2016, so we shall see what happens. I wonder if I should just cancel the auto-renew??
The PCGS refund certainly should be based on the unused months of service we paid for Coinfacts. Anything less than that will not be satisfactory. Hope PCGS does not try to give us some kind of discount on grading submissions instead. That would be worthless for those of us having nothing to submit for grading. I only buy PCGS graded coins, and I have already crossed all my other earlier purchased coins to PCGS or sold them.
Buy some from me and I'll give you discounts on PCGS graded coins.
I wonder if PCGS' use of the "retro" green labels will be to help preserve the provenance and chain of ownership of coins resubmitted for grading in Old Green Holder Labeled slabs, in a similar way that PCGS has used the "GSA" label designation to identify coins that were submitted to them for grading in original US Govt GSA holders?

So is there a Coinfacts app for iPhone/iPad and if so, is it any good?
There has been for a year or more. It's very good, though photos are limited to 3.

That is good news (for PCGS as much as us who do these sets). David made a big deal about the "+" coins in everyman sets in the Luncheon last summer. I have to believe that of the nearly 500 1883 No Cent nickels graded AU-58, at least a few should warrant the "+".
My coinfacts auto renews on 1/30. If I have not heard anything by then, I will cancel (and wait out the 3 days)
Coinsfacts show auction results for PCGS and ATS coins side by side. The more people who see which brand tends to get higher auction prices realized, the better for our hosts core business.

As a fun thing for the service it is great seeing your true views of the coins you have and what other coins in a series that are out there...

That amazes me.

Wouldn't the low ball set owner want to request a "-" rather than a "+" ???????
