My set rating doesn't include the aqueous test cards nor the blue/white test card. Hopefully I'll be able to send them off soon to be graded. Unsure of what the weighting will be, PSA has their own formula to determine that based on prices in the catalog. In the catalog I saw there were no prices for blue/white so that leads me to believe not enough sale examples to collect this data.

I didn't see your card yet, however, I will go hunting for your post after I get out of work here in a bit.

The good news, these three cards here were added to the Bo Jackson Master BB/FB Set Registry today. The bad news, the 6 card sub was shipped out on 4/25 coming from CA to TX but somehow ended up in PA and have been there for 2 days now. It would have to be a bunch of tough to find cards that get misrouted - LOL! Blame falls on USPS as the address is listed correctly in PSA and USPS systems. Here's hoping they find their way home...

The cards arrived today, safe and sound. I can see a couple of white dots on the upper right corner of the Traber side of the blue/white card, probably what resulted in the low grade.

That's what I'm talking about. Very nice run since Feb. The 91 score brings back memories. When I saw the film clips of him breaking the bat over his leg I thought that was the coolest thing.

Well, that's not true. In 1988 he led the team overwhelmingly in strikeouts.

I'm assuming it's because he had 25 HR that year, darn near a three way tie between Brett, Bo and Tartabull.

There has been a lot of action around this card recently. A 9 popped, sold twice. Within a few weeks of the second 9 sale a 10 popped. Two days later a second 10 popped. Interested to see where this 10 lands.

I think that only keeps you ranked if you had over 90% completion, I wasn't quite there yet so my collection won't be on permanent record.

I invested a lot of money and patience into hording several copies of this card. That finally paid off recently when I got good results back from a bulk submission. Overall, I graded 5 copies and got one PSA 7, two PSA 9 and two PSA 10s. I sold one of the GEMs and one of the 9's privately, gifted the PSA 7. The other GEM and PSA 9 are staying in my collection for the time being.

I thought this was worth sharing in the thread. Here is an indication of how much Bo collecting changed from the time prior to the 30:30 documentary as compared with today. Here is the first of this card graded a PSA 10 which sold for only $147 as a POP1. Today, as a POP 3 it's my opinion that this card could sell for as much as $2k and maybe more. The set that contains the card is only available from one source that I'm aware of and sells for $400.00. While still rare it seems that more sets came up for sale this past year than had for a long time. I purchased and graded the #2 and #3 PSA 10 cards. To do this I had to go through 5 sets to get them which was a big investment and really a gamble because the condition can be rough on these cards. I sold one of the cards privately and the other remains in my collection. We will still have to wait and see what this card can do at auction but I'm certain it would have been much, much more than $147.
