Nothing really, personally. Here is a listing from eBay with details from the seller and a front/back image. Love the Bo quote: "Football is easy, if you're crazy as hell."

<< <i>Nice card Jack. Interesting how the scanner leaves that bar pattern on the disc. Is this officially on the registry set now? >>
I added the request yesterday so I will before long. this scanner seams to pick things up really well. It even shows the rainbow colors on refractor cards nicely.
Apparently Bo Jackson has rejoined the White Sox organization as a team ambassador.
"In his new job, Jackson will make appearances for the organization and serve as a team representative in the community and throughout baseball. He joins a team of White Sox ambassadors that includes recently announced Hall of Fame inductee Frank Thomas, Hall of Famer Carlton Fisk, Ron Kittle, Carlos May, Bill Melton and Minnie Minoso."
Interesting to see different players featured on the front of those. Do you know if there are any others that one would have to collect that have Bo Jackson on the back?
I think those are the only 2 that have Bo Jackson in 1989. Some player cards have as many as 6 variations I am cracking a vending case of this right now
I saw some interesting data on the 1987 Auburn Tigers (McDag) baseball card lately, wondering why this card didn't sell for more than $211.28?
The card was sold Dec. 18 for $224.72, and then quickly flipped on Dec. 23 for $299.99, before that buyer in turn consigned for a loss w/ Probstein with the sale on Feb. 5.
A different Gem Mint 10, that is only one cert number higher than this card so was part of the same initial sub and same grader, sold for $234.28 on Dec. 29, and then went on to be flipped Jan. 19 at a sale price of $900.
Other recent sales figures for other PSA 10's of this card are $1,226.00 on Nov. 13; $710.02 on Nov. 14; $693.55 on Dec. 8; and, $330.00 on Dec. 15 (each of these 4 cards were unique certs, not flips). So, the final sale price is all over the place, and I didn't notice anything different about the first one in this post that makes it look worse than the others. Pretty surprising to see a difference of $1,014.72 between the recent Probstein flip and the high sale price last November!
I believe supply and demand has a lot to do with that. The first one to sell in November was a pop 2 at the time and now the pop is around 20 PSA 10 in a short period of time.

Wow, did anyone notice the pretty strong sale price for a Mint 9 Bo a month ago? I guess I didn't realize a 9 for this one has become a $1,000 card. Wonder what a 10 would be.
Yep, noticed. A few copies of this sold raw for about 300+ not long before this popped, I'm sure this was the result of one being graded. The buyer of the card is a heavyweight which drove this price to some extent. Note that there was only one bid. I'm certain the price of a 10 would be very, very high.
I've been working on a little group of tough Bo cards lately, closed the deal on the last one this morning. I'll post scans when I've got them all in-hand. If all goes as planned, I should be adding two new slots to the Bo master registry when I get the cards back from PSA. These have been high on my want list since I've been back in the hobby, very excited to have these babies in my collection.
That's awesome! Congratulations! I'm in the extremely early stages of starting a Yaz master set and I have a pretty obscure variation that's not on the list. I'm still debating whether to go thru the hassle and expense of getting it added.
Would you mind walking me thru the process? You send it in to get graded.... is there a decent possibility they're not familiar with the issue? If not, will they slab it? Or what do they do?
Closed the deal on another VERY challenging Bo card tonight. This will add another slot to the registry. Really can't wait to show this card, however, I'm keeping the secret until I have the card in hand for a worthy scan. Mind blown!!
Looks like third is easily attainable too! Congrats on all your great work lately and unique items.
You've actually given me a bit of the Bo bug. I have quite a few Bo baseball cards, but very few football. I think I'd like to pickup a few of his early football issues as well as his 86 topps traded RC.

If things go as planned, I'll have third within a week or so. I had some larger acquisitions in the beginning part of this year and this will be the last of them. Now it's tortoise time. Thank you for the kind words.
I look forward to seeing your Bo pick-ups, please post them in here. And good luck with your Yaz collection.
Thanks. I just made what I consider a major trade. And after I buy one or 2 more PSA Yaz cards in the near future I plan to register my set. It will be very incomplete at first, but I'm on the 40 year plan

Awesome, glad to hear you completed the trade. Can't wait to see you published.
I picked these up a while back, wanted to get them scanned in properly before I posted. Some more positive film slides of Bo from Topps, this time from 1993 with the Chicago White Sox. Like the others I posted, these images were not used for any card produced.

Without further delay, the 1990 DONRUSS #569 JIM TRABER/#650 BO JACKSON BLUE/WHITE TEST card. Definitely a highlight in my collection and hopefully a new slot in the registry soon.
Edited: I like how Bo's name is ghosted in there as if it was drawn by way of eraser.

Got added to the registry last week. Only received a 1 weighting on the composite. Thought I would do better than that.

I can agree with that concept for sure, but $900 in mid-January would then seem like an outlier.

Noticed PSA has Officially graded Broder cards now. Took this off the pop report for Bo Jackson. This should be the card they graded.
