On my last sub, the 1990 Score 280 I submitted was not recognized for the error it was initially. The manager's last name is mis-spelled. Should be Wathan but is listed as Watham on the initial run of the card. Since my order had not shipped, I contacted PSA last week to voice my disappointment about the error not being denoted. The agent asked which publication the error was listed in and took down the details promising to follow-up. I noted today when I looked at my order that the card is now listed as 1990 Score 280 Bo Jackson Watham, new spec. number. It's a PSA 9 and I think the only one graded at the time of this writing. I'm pretty pleased about this. >>
Got the match print photos from Topps in the mail today. They are HUGE! Much larger than I'd imagined, mostly because of the tiny picture on the auction. Also, the coloring is gorgeous in comparison to the card. Included were 3 COAs and the original Topps envelopes. Backs are inscribed (grease pen?) with player and card info.
I'm the proud Father of twins! I probably paid more than I should have for these cards, however, I've been looking for the '88 for a while finding that most have a hair-like printing defect on the top border; something absent from this card. As far as the '89 I guess I just figured why by one when you can have two at twice the price. LOL. Really, I just felt like I didn't want to see the cards go their separate ways.
That having been said, you won't likely be seeing any more pick-ups from me for a while. I'm preparing to change careers and am setting back the rest of my money until that time to be prepared for a slow income period over the next few months while I make the switch. I'll be reading when I can and look forward to returning to the hunt for Bo as soon as humanly possible.
"The item '1988 ACE FACT PACK LOS ANGELES RAIDERS BO JACKSON' which you requested for the Bo Jackson Master Set - Baseball & Football on 8/26/2013 9:19:00 PM was loaded into the set on 9/13/2013 8:59:00 AM."
Edit: P.S. - The card was assigned a 10 weighting in the set. This moved me down to single digits in the ranking.

I love both of these cards. I have always liked the 89-92 OPC as they can be pretty tough to get in high grade and there's not a lot of product out there. If Bo were my main player, these cards would be a must own for me. I followed those auctions and would have been a buyer at a lower price, but that doesn't mean you overpaid. Sweet cards!
So, this copy of the 88 Ace Bo card is 57/43 left-right centering and near 50/50 top-bottom. The top edge is a mild rough cut. Corners, surface, other edges have no concerns. Predicting a 9, let's see if I get it right this time...
I was looking at Bo completed prices the other night; I think they are bullish for cards long term.
-His 1988 topps football rookie seems to be on fire. As high as $200-250 for a PSA 10. Even 9's are selling for $30?
-His 1990 score cards are kind of surprising. Like the #566 all star game MVP card. $80 for a BGS 9.5? The raw card is $1. You probably could have bought those for .01 cent years ago.
-I remember having the 89 Score traded football bo years ago. That was a cool card. I think people thought the traded set would be as rare as 84 fleer update baseball or some other rare traded set.
<< <i>I was looking at Bo completed prices the other night; I think they are bullish for cards long term. >>
I agree, Bo prices are strong and I think they'll continue growing.

Looks like another copy recently sold for $2300. Fantastic card!
Got a card in the mail today I'd been waiting on for a while, well worth the wait.
1991 Stadium Club #224 Oversize Proof
I've included a photo of the card alone. Directly below it, a copy of the regular issue to compare cropping differences. Not my card, just an image I grabbed from eBay.
Here are some of the things I noted:
As is normal with these proofs, there is no foil stamped "Stadium Club" in the oval area and no foil stamped pennants/triangles surrounding the oval. The seller said the orange surrounding the oval is different from the standard issue. I don't have one to compare at the moment. Missing the horizontal lines on top and bottom of the blue bar and the line just below the blue bar. Significantly more space above, below and to the right on the oversize card that was cropped in regular issue. The reverse seems to be maybe a miscut as there is a white line just short of the top, where the back of another card may have started based on the pattern.
Reverse (That is a reflection on the card saver, not a crease below the player image.)
<< <i>I just noticed that the Bedell collection was removed from the Bo Jackson Master set. I wonder if someone bought it? I guess we will find out soon. >>
Interesting. This just happened right now as I was looking earlier and he was still there.

No I sold a bunch and 1 or 2 may have now become a 10. Waiting to hear back from the buyer. I have a few at PSA now but I was never smart enough to crackout a good looking 9.
