There is a ripping frenzy going on with the blowout forum guys. A handful of cases and rack packs results.

distributor for Oregon sent his stuff out overnight for Friday delivery.

Pack 2. A few observations. I think the stock is better than last year. In these scans the Peter Burjos looks cool with the clouds. I don't see any rookie logos. Nothing but highlights going to be posted after this.

Has there ever been a manager auto in a modern set? Heritage could have some good former player / manager autos with Sandberg, Gibson and Mattingly.

Was out at Grapevine exchanging my M4 rifle this afternoon and decided to stop by Walmart out that way. Fun trip. I picked up a 2012 Heritage Blaster, a 2013 Heritage Blaster & a Jumbo hanger of 2014 Topps Heritage. It was the only 2014 Heritage out, and it didn't even have it's own tag. I paid $4.98...Took a while to rip it because I had to jet over to Studio Movie Grill for Mr. Peabody at 8:40pm. Did ok. Rookie All Star, NAP-Rays and a News Flashback of the Great Bill Cosby. Attached are some pix...I included the odds portion of the package for Craig, in case he is still interested. Obviously, all except Yankees are up for grabs.

For those who live in the Metroplex, the other Wal-Marts in the Mid-Cities (Bedford, Keller and Colleyville; not Hurst, as they don't carry cards) had the jumbos as well, but no blasters yet.

Thank you for posting those retail odds! Will be opening a case late tonight and then the rest tomorrow. I'll post a summary of results here. For those that know me, I trade all of my Heritage towards cards I need for my vintage Topps complete set run. I need 973 more cards to have every Topps base card from 1951 to 2014. However, I know a guy that will trade me vintage I need for Trout and Jeter so if you have any Trout and/or Jeter, I'll trade for those. So please keep me in mind. Thanks and good luck ripping!

Can someone explain to me the issue with the embossed cards? Ssp? Not included? I couldn't follow the discussion on blowout and didn't want to jump into the discussion going on about presale.

Here is a summary..... People thought that the embossed inserts were going to be pretty common. The sell sheet listed them in the middle of Then and Nows, New Age Performers, etc. Many people presold these embossed cards in master sets. Then BOOM! All hell breaks loose because the embossed cards are freakishly rare. Sellers are mad because they have to issue refunds and buyers are mad because they feel they are entitled to get what they paid for.

I wondered if you found the Flash Gordon buyback 1:800K, who would buy it and for how much......

Jeter announces retirement and all H E double hockey sticks breaks loose on his card prices…Refractor…7 minutes remaining and bid is $46 +SH. Action Image Variation 9 hours remaining - $43 bid already. Reminds me of the steroids the venezuelan back prices were on. I finally picked up his action image venezuelan for $8.95…down from $50-$100.

still no heritage at my target, guess I'll have to expand the search....did pick up two packs of the new regular topps issue and got one of the power player cards and a Buster Posey Upper Class card...don't know if it's worth anything but is nice....photo below if I've uploaded it correctly. al.

I've not come across retail in metro Atlanta but I do have 5 fresh cases of hobby sitting here next to me. There are purple refractor hot boxes. Here are the some from my first 2 boxes.

The Ramirez is chrome. The stock this year seems better, but the majority of the chrome and refractors I have pulled so far are oc.

Two things that Topps could have done better with:
1) Quality control on chrome and refractors, all but 2 were OC
2) Relics and autos, no one wants a monster box of common relics and autos. Quit making them and put that money somewhere else
