I guess they got another 75 mini case to break as well. Explains why they have them listed on their site so close to the national at all.

    "two for 35''
    What does
"FYI if you want one particular box, Bring 20 grand then " mean.

To me Id think that means he has 1960s full boxes or something.

1970s maxs out at about 15 grand for a 1971 box. So saying bring 20 grand for a box Id guess means the guy has 1960s wax boxes. And to say any particular Id guess he has a few to choose from.

He's had 50s boxes in stock before at the National for 50-75K, IIRC..

He had a 55 Bowman box of 5c wax for 50K a couple years ago..as well as a 55 Topps wax box for 50K..

I would love to have the 1955 Topps box. I believe the boxes that Ron Burgandy is speaking of is a 1959 Topps FB cello box and a 1963 Topps FB box. Both are beautiful in condition and should bring that number you are speaking about. Have fun Tom and call me when you get back.

I thought those were pics from Facebook and not what Tom was refering to but what he saw at the show during setup. But I may be wrong. It was a question I thought.

    Assuming 36 packs/box, a $20k box is $555/pack.

    Assuming 24 packs/box, a $20k box is $833/pack.

For the life of me, I don't know why identifying the box(es) is a big deal since I assume BBCE brought them there to showcase and sell.

We did a group rip a few months back. I want to say the packs were like $325 each? But that's nowhere near 20K. I doubt 86F is that much now. 1971 Baseball would be so sweet

One just sold for just under $3k last month. There is one up in Huggins and Scott now.

From the looks of things it's basically the situation that vintage FB, BKB and HKY have good variety while
vintage BB in variety is still tough to come by. But nice to see more 1975 mini wax available (hope it's
from cases not in the 212351 serial number run)

They still have packs on the BBCE at $65.00 for 1976 Topps that would come to $2340 for a box (36 packs right?) so a little premium for a sealed box might put it at about $2500 - Should be in that range btw $2500 and $3000 anyway.

Has anyone tried to bust 1993 SP lately? A lot of the gloss coated cards from that era come out of the pack stuck together like glue. 1993 UD is like that. Not sure about 1993 SP, but the texture of the cards is similar.

That case could be filled with grief and sorrow.
