It was a pleasant surprise that the seller could not capture the colors of tone with this two-bits. The old white ANACS holder has her graded at AU50...we'll see what PCGS says.

Catbert - I'm a long way from a seated dime specialist, but for some reason large number punches were used on 1847 dimes. I also think it's pretty neat that the date overlaps the design.

I know, right? I had that one side by side with another 1847 25C (AU53) (below), and that one looked better in detail, maybe not all around better, but I am kinda partial.
