    Here is a nice Quarter that I picked up this past week;

    1847 25C MPD FS-301

    (Pick up Point - the "8" protruding from beneath the rock, below the bottom tip of the shield and above the "8" in the date)

    Although not noted on the FS-301 variety, the "7" appears to be repunched to the south

    A relatively a NewP. There is some strike weakness, but for a CC coin, a few things can be overlooked:

    Hey guys!
    I haven't posted recently but I see you are still going strong.
    I'm beginning to think that Paesans stash wouldn't fit in my house! It must be a sight to see.

    Here is one I needed for a type set.

    Hi Flatwoods, The "Stash" is not as big as it seems. Many of the images that Vern posts from The Stash have moved on, like that double dime on the previous page. I call it "Trickle Down Numismatics" and I'm blessed and fortunate to have many friends who sell and trade beautiful coins with me, and plenty who buy my spares. So The Stash is really a dynamic resting place for coins that I really like. It seems much larger than it actually is. When all is said and done, I'd be happy keeping one coin from each friend that I've made along the way as a memoir.

    Thanks for the compliment.

    Here is Half Buck that I picked up a couple weeks ago...now I need to decide if I should keep her or the (no motto) predecessor in my collection;

    (I also have her in a GTG thread)

    Vern,
    They are both nice Halves, but I have a rule that I can only have one of each type. This 1846 Half (PCGS gave it a XF40???) is the one I was referring to earlier as being "unique" at PCGS, since it will be the first WB-105 (DDO) listed.
