If you think that distinction matters to me, you'd be wrong. See, I don't care that I'm being laughed at. All I care about is that my statement is correct. I set out to amuse people, and I did that.
So if I'm reading this correctly, you're pleased that people are laughing at you for being such a ridiculous person because it makes your statement (that you amused people) correct? OK, just want to make sure I have this right.
It's funny, the thing about people that feel the need to overstate the fact that they don't care what people think of them is that usually they feel the exact opposite- If you don't care what people think about you, then why do you go out of your way to make sure people understand that you don't care what they think of you? A person that truly doesn't care what people thought of them wouldn't feel the need to say it over and over.
$25 and I don't require feedback, but I don't accept returns.
Secondly I mostly buy on Ebay, but I've been selling lately, and recently sold about 25-30 items. I was hoping most would leave feedback because I'm 6 from 1000. They haven't. It's my recent buys that have mostly gotten from the 970s (where I was before I started selling) to 994. Somehow I'll live if they don't leave feedback.
i don't care what Lee thinks about people who think that other people think they don't care when they do care what other people think they think they care about.

It's because people keep saying stuff that is based on false presumptions, as if they know how or what I think, when they don't. So I clarify, and each time, the clarification usually requires an explanation that includes the fact that I don't care.

Why do you feel the need to explain yourself repeatedly if you don't care what they/we think?
