One Troy pound = 12 Troy ounces
I'm guessing the seller is hoping that someone will think this bar has 16 ounces and bids accordingly.

I recently purchased a 14.25 oz. JM London assay office silver bar, looks way better than this bar as it is shaped like a small brick.
