I would love to get in on a 75 OPC rip. I've been watching that box for the last few months, but it's just too much to spend. I'd definitely take a few packs!
It would be nice to sell this out today, so we can all start paying.
Is everyone okay if we put box 5 and 6 that were going to be used for packs up for a box option instead? >>
I would support that for anyone who has not already participated and prefers a full box over packs. That means we have 2 "full box" slots available for anyone that doesn't already have a pack slot or a box slot.
From your update it looks like there are 8 packs available in box 4 and then 2 full boxes left. If no new takers for full boxes materialize by the 96 hour mark I am confident that those last 2 boxes will be consumed as packs by those who want more and those who already got full boxes and want some packs. Worst case is we'll be fully "subscribed" by 9AM EST Monday.
This rip is for the 1977 Topps case only. At this point, anything else would be too confusing, and we don't want people dumping packs/boxes in order to take part in extra product.

Jeff, are we talking about everyone else or just you really? Seriously though, I agree that we should finish this one first and then start another thread if we get enough interest.
I actually just wanted to bump the thread to get more of the packs sold out so we can end this bad boy. Thanks again Mike!!!

<< <i>We have 26 packs left in box 5, and box 6 is available.
If no one else is interested, I might pick up a second box. >>
Why don't we see how it looks after the 96hr mark. I would be interested in a few packs to rip to go along with my box but the rules say I can't ask until tonight. I'm wondering if I might not be alone in this idea. I'd obviously give those packs up if there is isn't enought interest in the 6th pack box.

<< <i>So, I'm guessing once we all get our packs we'll set a time to start ripping and posting our pulls?
Two quick questions...
Do most folks here immediately put their best cards into cardsaver 1's?
Does anyone have advice on best place to pick up cardsaver 1's?
Maybe I'll just buy a 100 ct. pack from BBCE and have him send with the packs.... >>
I put ALL of my cards into Card Saver 1s and then the majority go into BCW Super Vault boxes for long term storage. The far minority get pulled for submitting to PSA.
You can pick up Card Saver 1s, in bulk and at great prices with free shipping, from Columbia Sportscard. Full case of 2000 costs only $110 shipped.
EDIT: I've been buying Card Saver 1s from there for years now and have never seen a better deal. They're also always shipped quickly. >>
what do they charge for the Super Vault Boxes? (they are sold out and do not have pricing listed)

I'll second that. And sometimes you can get them from ColumbiaSportsCards on eBay even cheaper than on their site. Check out their different auctions, as they often have different prices for the same items!

Updated, waiting for miklia to get back to me if he wants box 6 or not. If so he will free up 4 packs, and 1all can get 2, and jrboles will get 2, and we are Sold out!
Otherwise we are 6 packs into the last box, and only 30 packs left.
Looks like we have over 40 different people in on this break, very cool
All sold out. Miklia responded firtst for the box, or box 6 before packs were requested. So that frees up 4 packs, and I put you 1all and jrboles down for 2 packs each, this is under box 3.
That's the best that can be done, but if you want additional packs Steve may have them.
Time to pay up, Steve emailed me and said it's $20 shipping for those who purchased boxes, and I think that's it. Please respond here once paid up.
First time box break purchaser here: When we send payment by PayPal, are we supposed to choose 'gift' or does it matter? I know in the BST threads, sometimes people request a paypal via 'gift'.

I'll take 3 packs ('77 wax) if still available...
Thanks!

I'm all good with this also.
Also, if there's any traction in doing a group break on that 76 Cello Box, I'll be in as well.

For all - too soon to create the 76 cello and 75 OPC rip so we can combine shipping?
