I guess we can look at this as a "buying opportunity" ...
Except for one thing... who is going to sell when the price goes down? I suppose some will unload... but many who just loaded up might just hold on until this phase of the "game" passes... I would imagine that many dealers will hold back, at least for a while...
I know I would not sell right now unless I really had to... and thankfully, I do not

PM's are doing much better than just keeping up with the dollar. When this all started at the dollar's peak in 2001, gold has increased 5.4X (+440%). The dollar has dropped only 37%. Silver is up even more in that same period. Clearly, there is an extra "boom" factor in these metals that is not correlated to the dollar. And part of that is 20 yrs of price supression slowly being unwound. One should expect this trend to not only continue, but to accelerate over the next few years.
Another way to say all this is that the price of the dollar from the USDollar index is not a true measure of the depreciation of the currency that is really happening. Things have been so fudged over the past 15 yrs that very few even have a clue.
ttt for the new week. Somebody want to redo this with a new thread with the charts at the top? TD

it is keeping the value of PMs up with the declining value of the dollar. On
the other hand, it is better then a poke in the eye.
