interesting that the andrew mccutchen black ref has the topps rookie logo on it. my nathan reimold black ref is missing his trophy (which is there on his normal cards).

I really like the stamps. Can't beleive that Topps is making them so scarce. Seems like a lot of work to make just 50 or 60 of them each. I would love to attempt a set of these, but it would be a major task to collect all 207.

Lots of variations surfacing on Ebay with the front panel being all black or different colors. Saw one for Mauer and Panda so far.

I was just talking to Joe and we're thinking Marichal messed up with his signing instructions. Every one that's surfaced has been unnumbered, so he may not have used his blue pen to sign anything, since no blues have surfaced.

I agree with those that like the excitement of Heritage!

I didn't do the set this year again - that's 2 yrs in a row - and I did the set EVERY year!

I remember the excitement in 05 got crazy.

This is probably the time of year where I miss JS since his passion for the product was contagious!

The black refractors seem to be falling at about 3 per hobby case. Not quite as difficult to pull as in the past.

A few pages ago; someone showed the 2 cards #'d 463 IIRC. If so, that is a nod to the original 61 Topps set which had 2 cards with that number but no #426 (or the other way around).
