<< <i>got one but checking order status, says order suspended...who knows what that means >>
generally, new orders sometimes show suspended for a short period of time before rolling into either "processing" or "hold". if it is still in "suspended" by about 30 min before close of business, then call them.
<< <i>I still don't know how any of you are getting on. I have a reliable high-speed DSL connection and the site has been down for me for at 34 mins. Can't get through via phone either even though I'm hitting redial. Doesn't make sense!

keep trying the web and phone at the same time. eventually one will work.

i just remember that once I got timed out during one of these ordering firestorms. I was logged in, dragging through the order process, and then it logged me out as it sat and sat.
New Folks.. a reminder.. x out the last three or four digits if you post your order number.. with the entire number visible to the public, someone evil can get in and cancel it..

Although the ordering experience was not great, it wasn't as bad as some other products.
I am wondering about how fast these are selling. I got my order 33159xxx at 12:13pm Eastern. Goldbully's was 33163xxx at 12:38pm. That was about 4,000 sales.
As soon as I saw the set appear on the "Commemoratives" page, I smacked the "add to cart" button.. as it was grinding way, I made a wild guess that it already HAD been added to the cart, and there was no reason to wait for the next page to finish loading, or their system to time out my log-in.. so I went to the shopping cart page.. yup, there it was.. mashed the quick checkout button.. wasn't so quick, but it worked.. stupid hu.. err Mint tricks
1 unit backordered. Expected to ship on 10/30/2009.
No, I'm not gonna flip it.. not unless they start goin' for $500.00..

Are u using different billing addresses or different shipping. The whole household thing sounds like it could work if the shipping is different. Ive heard that billing address means household?
Here's a tip you might want to try. After I click the add to cart button I wait for the progress bar to get about halfway across the bottom of the screen. Then I click the shopping cart (or refresh sometimes) and my order is usually there. Be sure to have CC set up for quick order and don't forget to put something in the Mint's "How did you hear about" drop down (leaving this blank will add to the checkout time as the page will refresh with an error). This process works for me.
Was like waiting for paint to dry, but finally got a confirmation. I actually got booted 3 times, however, each time I logged back on, the item was still in my cart, and finally, I was able to get to checkout properly 46 minutes after the opening bell, thus ending with....

I love the mint. Would't change a thing.
There are more significant things to worry about.

Not as bad as I thought it would be.

if it is not First In/First Out right now... then it is really close.
I'm expecting a first or second week of november ship date, just in an effort to be realistic with what they can do with a flood of orders.
I also managed to order 5 mint sets as well....
