This thread is very entertaining. Especially considering Bobby seems to add a new Clemente to his Master Set every other day. It's great to see that so many of the Clemente heavy weights that are building this set are active on the forum and adding their new additions as well. Can't wait to see what you pick up at the National Bobby. Glad I get to have a seat right next you during all that Clemente action.
Here's another recent pick up. I thought this was a cool panel. What do you think this would grade? I'm thinking about taking this to the National to get graded.
Thanks

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news Bobby, PSA might grade this, but will not include it in the master set. Looks like it was cut from a full sheet from the 1971 Dell All Stars Album. They currently will include ony the single. If a holder ever became large enough to accomodate a whole sheet, they would likely include that too, but no partials as it is too easy to have a number of different partial man made (transalted as hand cut) variations. Happy collecting.

Howard, I knew it wasn't in the master set, but do you think PSA will grade this? I've seen the 4 panel stamps graded, but not the 3 panel. I just think it's a pretty neat collectable.

My experience has been if it will fit in a holder, they will grade it (even if it's an "A" grade). The Dell all star's are not that hard an item (although visually pretty darn cool). When I get some stuff out of storage (hopefully within a month or two), I could sell you a complete all star album with the stamps intact in full sheets as well as some other items for your Clemente master set. Be well.
Nice milton pickup! And yes sometimes it feels like drug, haha.
I was digging around on my old pc and found this, a copy of the Clemente Master set from back in 2005, funny how much it's changed and back when the set had less the 150 cards I only had 30 or so was was happy to be #12, good times back then picking up cards up weekly, now I'm lucky to add to my set once every 3 months (not really that bad of a problem to have thou, haha). Enjoy-
I don't know how you do it!! You're picking up Clemente's like they are falling from trees! It's so awesome to see so many Clemente's that are out there. Keep up the good work.
Bobby, Great looking Clemente Kelloggs card. Whats next?......I will be disappointed if we dont have another Clemente card for our viewing pleasure today!
Here a tough Clemente. There's only 23 slabbed and 10 with grades. Since these are tough to find graded, I decided to get one thats authentic. Still pretty cool card.

Thats a great shot of Clemente-you should get the 68 SI poster to go along with the Nabisco card. All of the Nabisco are hard to find with dotted lines on all four sides. Some Nabiscos have a narrow and some have a wider border. Scott
I just upgraded my 1956 Topps # 121 Pirates Team card. I found that card to be difficult to find with nice centering. Also here is a pic of my Topps Clemente coins.
have a kelloggs corn flakes box from the 90s with roberto clemente on the front of the box , their is a card on the side of the box of him. have any of these been cut out and graded?...thanks

I'm not sure, because it's not part of the Master set. The Master set only consist of Clemente's playing days.

I have a question for all the Clemente experts, since I'm still a rookie on Clemente cards and I'm still learning. When I was at the National I was looking for a 1956 Clemente in a white back. The majority of the cards I looked at were gray backs. I thought the gray back was the harder of the two to find. Am I wrong or is it the white backs?
Thanks Bobby

Grey backs are tougher in the first series cards 1-100 but white backs are almost impossible to find in cards 101-180 and sell for double or more if you can find them.

Sweet Milton Bradley card...have never seen that one before. Great grade also. Your set is really coming along nicely.

Scott, I wish I had that problem. I can only wish to have half the set you have. (Beautiful set by the way)
Jeff, Thanks on the Milton. I got it pretty cheap and a neat looking card.
Here's another one I picked up. Received this in the mail today. Didn't realize how big these are.
