With Wang coming back and the BP as unreliable as it is...kudos over the past week but still unreliable...I'd like to see Joba go to be the 8th inning guy again, Wang back in the rotation and let Phil Hughes continue in the rotation to see how he does. He's had a couple of very good performances and a couple of bad...if he gets into a groove, he might fit into that rotation very well, maybe even for the season.

Since Stalin decided to take a shot at C.C. I have to say .... Hamels ... great pitched game. Definately not dominating. He is very hitable. He throws alot of garbage .... good garbage at that (changeup) but NL teams can and will figure him out.
Dare I say he reminds me alot of a young Andy Pettitte. No slight but definately not the monster ace pitcher.

I dunno - you could think that but I never said the game was over - the Yankees were due to break out a bit...just so happened it was in the 9th.
That fastball was an extremely poor choice for Lidge - stay with the slider, strike him out or walk him especially with first base open. Oh well.
