Ummmm .... when my childrens children witness the demolision of the current new Yankee Stadium, this 14 run top of the second hung up by the Indians will still be standing.

My humble quick fix for the disaster that is Wang and the shaky bullpen sans Bruney, Rivera

BRING UP Melancon (lights out relieving in AAA)
BRING UP Tomko (Pitching well, can start or relieve, has plenty of experience)
BRING UP Hughes (Picthing well, anything better then Wang)

    SEND DOWN Wang
    SEND DOWN Clagget
    SEND DOWN Marte

No, but I'm sure he may have caught that fly in center field and then that Clagget guy would have been
    out of the inning.

Dan it was a 7-2 game when he came in. It was only the 2nd inning.

Gardner catches that ball it might have been a different inning.

    I agree with a 21 Mantle though.

The umps just ruled that the Indians batters must use plastic whiffleball bats for the remainder of the game.
  • A few tractor trailers filled with brew from Germany have been seen circling the stadium.

    Pitiful bunch?

For today, yes, quite pitiful...& the George of old wolud have certainly said as much, maybe even more colorfully than I did, LOL...

Whether they can right the ship for the rest of the way remains to be seen...but they've already had a couple of embarrassing losses and the Yankees' braintrust can't be too pleased with the way things are going right now.

They should have let Swisher pich today! LOL!

You're right about the PM. I used to have it turned on and thoroughly enjoyed the conversations, but I was spending too much time each day, even though it was enjoyable.

I'm literally working 10 -12 hour days, 5 - 6 days a week, busy as yell. So for me, posting and reading here is an "escape" which I thoroughly enjoy....I just need to keep it down to a mild addiction, not a severe addiction. LOL

This is what happens when you tear down kids' playgrounds & ball fields & not replace them to build a $1.5B stadium AND squeeze out some of your most loyal season ticket holders, only to be replaced by empty luxurious seats.... It's the beginning of a new, unnamed curse!

    Hahaha!
