Broady, I'm not a big fan of Barber coinage, but that coin is gorgeous.
Nice to see you posting on the forum again....and with your usual good humor too!!

Well, I can say one thing for sure...if Broadstruck has the coin, it grades "Very Pretty" at the very least...
From what I've seen, if he picks his women the same way he picks his coins, he could put Hugh Hefner out of business...
59 3/4
How bad is that mark on the face & neck?
Looks almost as nice as the two of mine.

Wouldn't it be cool if some PCGS employed professional graders joined in on threads like these and gave their technical, professional opinions?
It would be very enlightening and would actually teach about technical grading as it is actually done.

I'll post my own once I have it in hand, but I've owned my share of MS62-64 Barbers and this Super Slider has a LOT going for it.
Thanks to all you played another round of my Guess The Grade!
Cool quarter!

Broadstruck...[ AKA: MR. AU 64 ] ...you're going to have to start posting images of MS coins
or everyone will just guess its an AU 58 from now on.
I agree with everyone - its a great looking coin.

I've posted MS coins but they now get AU58'd too as I guess it's the lil boy who cried wolf once to many times scenario
<< <i>I would say techincally a MS63, but it gets 'mysteriously' bumped to a 64 because of the toning.
Cool quarter!

I liked your 1st Grade better!
so that said of my foundness of the barber series beauty of lack there of and knowing broadstruck sure does have a magnet for au64's...hmmmm
nope i'm not breaking...au64
and i still think "who let the dogs out" would of better set the ambiance here
I would have guessed MS65 proving I don't know this series at all.
Thanks guys.
Once again the flashbacks prove that, technically,
I still have a memory.

Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
I am assuming the mark on the cheek is on the plastic of a slab and not on the coin?
Could be anywhere from 58 to 64, for all I know.
Let me amend that. It is either a 58 or a 63-64.
In this case, I didn't embarrass myself too badly.
Nice coin. I was sort of lukewarm on the toning at first- I mean, I liked the original look, but it just didn't grab me. After subsequent looks, particularly at the slightly bigger pics, I can imagine that if I saw it in hand and were able to cartwheel some luster beneath that toning, I would be very impressed. It took me two or three glances, but I have decided that even from the pictures, I like it.
Edit to add: CoinJunkie's AU53 is also very handsome.
Nice coin.
