Not yet but you can be sure it will be a lot more than melt value.

If it's anything like what they charged for the four piece Buffalo gold set, the price will be in the neighborhood of $1,300 an ounce if gold is selling for $850 and ounce.

One ounce proof Buffalo's $1049. So it will probably be at least that much.

If it was YOUR business and YOU were setting the price TODAY what would it be?

$865 for the gold blank. $50 for the packaging. $100 for the striking and related expenses.
    $1015 total.
The mint uses fedex overnight and charges $4.95 so maybe they get a special rate or are eating the extra cost.

I heard that since they can get no blanks from the Perth Mint, they will be giving one UHR for every 2 oz. of gold eagles/buffalos sent to them!

  • How can you guys get so excited about this coin? It's the same (obv.) design I've been staring at for 20 years.

$1,199.95 (+ or - $50) ... +$4.95 s/h .... no order limit & no production limit. Depening on the price of spot gold. Any one know if PCGS will have a holder available?

Way too much I sure..I really want of those but with the unlimted mintage I personally can't justify the price. I'd rather buy more prosperity sets! Yea!!!

It appears (from the pictures/renderings) to be a strikingly beautiful coin.... however, I will probably wait to see one in hand before making a purchase. Cheers, RickO

If there is a strong rumor about short mintage, very Strong price.

    If weak rumors, weaker price.

I suppose that any expected upswings in Gold Spot will cause a strong price, also. image

Anyone expect weak demand because of the bad economy? Also, the post-Christmas market is always a bit depressed - this one especially.
