North Peru Republic 8 Reales Lima mint monogram,1838 KM-155, assayer "M" (known only for 1837 and 1838).
Appears to be much scarcer in Mint State than "TM" or "MB", this the only MS of aforesaid assayer at either service.
Yeah, it's Saturday, not Thursday, and I don't really like doing show and tell... but I'm a few beers in this warm day and wearing a $5 gold piece ring so.....
Few scratches left of the the eagle (possibly to test?) but scarcer date:
Not if you share my view that this is what the end of our hobby looks like - computer-assisted die transfer copies with modified / re-engraved elements struck on correct period planchets. And we'll be there soon enough, unless every private minting operation is forced by law to place it's mint-mark on every token they produce with failure to do so resulting in confiscation of presses / dies and charges being laid.

And the date isn’t even a pattern date, but a total fantasy date.

What do you think the date was of the host coin he scanned originally before changing it to 1907?
The 1889-Mo series of patterns is known in white metal. For example, the 50c shown below. The series comprises 1c, 5c, 20c, 50c, Peso, 2.5 Pesos, 10 Pesos, and 20 Pesos. I own a few of these, but some I've never seen. And I don't know if there is a 10c or a 5 Pesos since they are not catalogued. They are all extremely rare.
An old-timer in Mexico City told me he once (in the 50s or 60s) found two complete (!!!) cased sets of these and actually traded his car for them both. He never got into where they ended up, but no one I know has ever seen them. One of these days, if I see him again, I will make it a point to ask him.
Here is the white metal 50c:
Few people know, however, the 50c also exists in silver with 2 known:
Maybe others in this series are out there waiting to be discovered?
Edited to add: Anyone care to guess what cert 33101003 is?
This NEWP 1926 Guatemala 10 Quetzales was purchased out of the "CSNS" Heritage Auction back in April as NGC MS63. It was the last coin I needed out of the three-coin Guatemala gold set of 1926 minted in Philadelphia. The 10Q is the hardest of the three to acquire nice and has a mintage (18,000) just more than a third of either the 5Q and 20Q. MS63 is the sweet spot for a type example; above that, there are only a handful of MS64s at NGC and one MS65 at PCGS. PCGS was nice enough to make it the first 63+ graded, and it has a nice pedigree to boot.
Happy Thursday. I found this little treasure at Great Collections. No other than an 1823 Mo 2 reales for Augustin, and MS64 no other. Very difficult coin, and happily, not that expensive (perhaps the venue?). Very happy...

That is a nice pickup 👍

The key date, and virtually impossible In MS. This one conservatively graded 62, most likely knocked at least a point for the weak strike. Not necessarily wrong, but it may not exist any better.

Thanks! To be honest, I think this is a good example of a TrueView juicing it a bit on the reds. The previous NGC Photo Vision images are a bit closer to what it looks like in hand:
A modest but charming coin with the sharpest ciba tree strike I have ever seen of the type (barring the white metal patterns, of course) showing considerably more detail than the Lissener AU58 which was struck from healthy dies. Reverse from a near shattered die with numerous raised cracks and strong clash, note the incuse ghost "1850". Seems to me that the die was failing and they decided to push it. Previous owner purchased from Freeman Craig around 1975.

This thread is active this week. Everyone is buying. No wonder prices are up!
This is my first regular issue (non-pattern) 4E. In fact, it's my first Colonial gold.
Ex. Eliasberg, Clapp, Newcomer.
It's a rare issue and this one is the first in the PCGS census, with 4 others at NGC.
