If the Pats don't win the Super Bowl, this will be the most distressful season that I can recall. First, the 49ers suck (but that was to be expected). Then Matt Stover costs me a perfect season with the Dolphins and now, if the Pats don't win, what the hell! I NEED HISTORY folks! There's a Super Bowl winner every year. But how often do you get a sniff at 0-16 or 19-0!
Very nice win today! I love that they were able to switch to the running game when they were not getting it done through the air, phenominal game all around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats to all the pats fans out there! I'm not gonna lie, I'm not a huge football fan, but I'm a New Englander and it's nice to see the home team take it down!!!
Great job Patriots.....looking forward to watching Green Bay get wipped a little.

Great win! Now, all I need is New York win and Green Bay loss. Or better yet, New York win, Green Bay loss and Favre torn ACL/MCL or a Grade III concussion or any injury that leads to retirement.

Nice thing to say, retard. Maybe your dog can get hit by a car or something. Good luck with that

There is absolutly ZERO room for that kind of talk in this thread! I respectfully ask that you edit that. Please/Thank you
WERE GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, I just got back home from watching the game at my local Hooters
First off, Congratulations to the Patriots, Paul (Perkdog), and the rest of "Patriot Nation"
The key to me was the red zone play...the Patriots held the Chargers to three field goals, and the Patriots scored three touchdowns.
It sucks, 'cause I just can't help but think after watching the game, that if LaDanian Tomlinson had been able to play, and Phillip Rivers and Antonio Gates hadn't been hobbled, the outcome would've been entirely different
Anyway, the Patriots came through when they had to and won the game. I wish them luck in the Super Bowl.
Congratulations to perkdog and my wife from Malden, MA (greater Boston area). Now we just have to wait and see who we face in two weeks (most likely the Packers; zero chance for the Giants on the frozen tundra).
Well, I guess my foot is my mouth about the Giants. Anyhoo, looks like you're going to get the Giants again, perkdog. How do you like your chances against them? I'm gonna say Patriots by 10.

I am going to approach this game -believe it or not, with MORE caution than San Diego! They almost beat us last time we played and their confidence has to be at its peak right now, All Im going to say is I will remain cautiously optimistic!

Come on Perk! Predict the Super Bowl score right now!!
<<only one more win to see a complete meltdown by those 72 Dolphins .. that reaction is going to be classic and my DVR is ready for it>>
Is your DVR also ready for the upset of the century? I am.
"The answer was in the Patriots eyes. Gone were the swagger and c0ck sure smirks, replaced by downcast eyes and heads in hands. For his poise and leadership Eli Manning was named the game's MVP. The 2007 Giants were never perfect nor meant to be. They were fighters, scrappers....now they could be called something else, World Champions."
Just keeping this thread warm.....and hoping the Pats are getting ready for a tough game next Sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
