    don't think your gonna be pulling USFL cards in the topps boxes unless I'm not understanding your breakdown

    Wasn't aware that USFL Cards were available in boxes. Thought they only came in sets 84 & 85 USFL Sets.image

    a tad bit over $54 for one shot at a Payton rookie is too much in my opinion

    Nothing gets by you guys. Edited to remove USFL cards.

    All, I am still relatively new to this board. How does it work? 1 pack per box per year for each of the 36 people? Where does it happen? Are they shipped to you? Could someone let me know? Thanks.

    Chris, are those the discounted rates on the boxes? He generally gives us like a 10% discount (if I remember right from previous rips), which would change the total to $133 per person before shipping.

    I would be interested in this rip. Man, I'm getting closer and closer to starting that NFL HOF set....must resist....

    Arny and Yankee - I have not talked with Steve yet, just waiting to see if we have enough people wanting in on a rip. I dont remember the discount but I do recall Steve tossing in a few extra box's.

    1 pack per year listed for the estimated price packaged and shipped directly from BBCX, payment will also be sent directly to BBCX. You can get in on as many lots as you would like. I will post a thread in the sports cards & mem forum as well.

    I agree that we need that confirmation. Once we get that I might jump to 2 lots, but I imagine there will be many more in once we get that confirmation.

    I emailed Steve and and he said he would post in the thread, I have not discussed details with him yet. Once we have enough people interested I can start talking specifics with him.

    I'm not much of a football card collector so I'm not up for this rip, but I do have an idea for all of you. You could ask Steve to include the empty boxes to the people who buy the most lots or on a random basis somehow. Some of those boxes must carry some value.

    Steve is waiting on the 78 and 79 boxes to come in, he said he would offer us a discount and we will figure it out when he has everything in hand. He should have the 78 and 79's in this week. He did say he had to pay a premium for the 78 and 79 boxes but the cost will not be higher than the originial amount posted. We will see.
