Over the last six months or so I have been picking up some Barry Larkin cards. No way I would ever try to obtain all of them, just some of the earlier ones.
I have been following this thread. I have been collecting picture pack and oversized issues of HOF Aaron Clemente Mantle etc... I just popped this 1964 Pete Rose picture pack in PSA 8 pop 1 highest ever. I am willing to trade or sell this. (I am doing the Aaron and Clemente master sets among other things.)

Collecting Clemente master (#6) and basic PSA registry sets, Hank Aaron master and basic sets, Mantle oddball issues, 1970's mega decade HOFs, 1967 Topps pin ups, and high grade Topps Clemente and Aaron. Numerous transactions with over 100 board members.
When cards are without the sleeve they just look so much better!! I wish PSA would try and fix this problem. A 3.5 x 5 is long overdue!! That Rose is awesome...What size is the card?
Here is the scan of the card in hand. It is 7x5" to answer that question.

Here are a couple of vintage snapshots of Johnny Bench. The first one is dated 1969 and is from a Reds basketball league that they used to do in the off season.
Looks like the Larkin bug is taking hold. Those are some nice looking cards. Glad to see this thread move back up again. Should be some pent up items to be shown.
I have a questions for you Reds fans... I've been looking for a Johnny Bench poster, which I guess may be fairly rare, but was hoping you Reds guys/ladies can help. It's a poster of Bench in full catchers gear throwing to 2nd base. I believe the photo used in the poster is from '69 due to the patch on the sleeve. It's the size of the SI posters of the day (1968). Any help or a pic of the poster from one of you're guys collection?!? Any for sale...somewhere!
Redlegs... That is the particular Johnny Bench poster that I'm talking about. Now, it says it's "from" SI, but is that who produced the poster? I don't think Bench was part of the '68 SI posters; so does anyone know the background on this particular one, or know how to acquire one? I know I have seen an ad "somewhere" in the past that had Johnny Bench's photo (the one w/him throwing to 2nd from '69), with another picture of Brooks Robinson in a batting stance. I've never seen the Brooksie poster before, and really am unsure if it was ever produced, but the Bench one is definitely out there...somewhere...
I just got this back- I think it is the only one graded If anyone is interested in this - drop me a pm

Kevin, That was the only lot I bid on from the Mile High Auction. I have wanted the Red Stripe Perez for a long time. I like how the "cut below dotted line" is left intact at the bottom of the card.
I couldn't go wrong in getting this one for $9.99. I will be cracking this one out, recut, and resubmit. It appears the only reason it got a PSA 7 is the uneven cut around the dotted lines. The highest graded examples of this panel is only a PSA 8.
I was able to upgrade my 1968 Kahn's Johnny Bench rookie. I have a PSA 7.5 that I have always been very happy with. This PSA 8 is very nice. There are no PSA 9's or 10's.
Here are a few recent additions. The O-Pee-Chee's are the highest graded. I like the Topps Match Print photos (front and back of the card) from Barry Larkin's 1998 Topps Finest.
Here is a very rare 1968-70 Shillito's Johnny Bench. I don't own it and have been trying to track one down for a long time. I have also been trying to find a 1968-70 Jamesway Trucking Johnny Bench as well.

The 1965 is the highest graded and the 1966 is the first one ever graded.
