Thanks Kevin. I wanted to post the pictures as I thought it might be a good reference for other collectors since the team issue postcards can be tough to date.
Great cards posted. I'm new to the boards, but have a pretty nice Reds Hall of Fame set on the registry. Can someone explain to me how to best post images here? I'm finding it a little tough to figure out. Thanks.
Copy the address of your picture and click on the green picture frame under message text and paste it in there and hit reply to thread. It's fairly easy..
I know this is not a card but I wanted to share an item that I have been searching for awhile. It's a nice example of an early 1970's Johnny Bench game that includes the photo which you hardly ever see in decent condition.
Great Bench game! You rarely see them in that kind of condition! Nice addition to your collection. 1970's baseball advertising pieces and products may be my favorite part of the hobby, that is a real gem.
Collecting anything and everything relating to Roger Staubach
hopefully this is a simple question for you Reds experts.
I have two Rose team issue photos. The first is 7" high, the second is 6-7/8" high. Is there a way to determine the year of issue based on that information and the very subtle cropping differences? It looks like 1963, 1965, and 1968 team issue photos all use the same image for Rose. Any help would be much appreciated.
Here is a recent purchase. The last card of Ernie Lombardi from the 1948 Signal Gasoline Oakland Oaks set. Casey Stengel was the manager of this team. I believe it is one of the earliest color photo cards sets ever made.
The 1975 MSA test disc Bench is the highest graded. PSA always mislabels the 1970 photostamp Bench. It was perforated but they always label as hand cut.

I just got this one back from PSA. First one graded.
