    Holy Underwear!!!

Was following my pull of a dual card on an eBay auction to see what it might be worth. Was surprised it ended this high.

    Maz/Bay dual relic

I'd take that in a minute.

Congrats on a great pull Kevin!!

Whatever else I purchase will be retail blasters. I just like those better.

All and all, not a bad two hobby boxes when you get a buy back and red ink. Can't complain.

Congrats on the auto, very nice.

I swear I was about to tell you it's spelled "Ted Kluszewski", not Kazanski, until I realized you actually had the latter.

Has anybody pulled the Perez cards out of the retail packs? With a 1:4 ratio I am expecting the cards to flood Ebay next week. Is there a checklist out on these cards. I'm guessing the early David Wright Perez card was likely pulled from a retail box.

My case from CA finally got here today. Haven't had a chance to get into until now. Will be ripping for a while. It's late on the ast coast, so I'm not sure how far I'll get. I opened 7 boxes last week. I had some decent boxes. A blue auto. Smoltz AND Santana variations in back-to-back boxes. 20 chromes, 4 refractors.

    NEW CASE !!!

1st box. 5-6 packs in, I already had 3 chromes, a Jeff Kent Refractor and .......INK !!!

I was giddy about the Markakis because he's about the only thing we Oriole fans have to be excited about right now.

    SP - 8

Geordie, I must've gotten your shipment. It seems half of the chromes/refractors I've pulled have been Dodgers.

Interesting (maybe just to me thogh): in one pack, the last 3 cards were Ichiro Thrills, then Ichiro chrome, then Ichiro blackback.

Perhaps some of you have noticed this before, I had not until tonight. I had always assumed that the pic. on the chromes were exactly the same as the regular card. There is a chrome card this year that has something omitted from it that is on the regular card. If this was ever done over the years with the Heritage cards, I do not remember it. For those of you suffering from "ripping fatigue", it might prove to be a tempoary diversion. Certainly not a big deal, just thought it interesting. Craig in Ohio (Heritage collectors are all nutz)

So far, I've gotten 24 blackbacks and 24 semi-SP greenbacks in every box. Always 1 blackpack per pack. Some packs are missing the semi-SP greenback, but it has been 'made up' for with 2 in another pack.

Hello all, I'm just starting to get going on Heritage this year. I've been trying to catch up on the action, but with 50-some pages to the thread its been kinda tough. So the first question is to complete the set do I need both the green and black backs for those numbers that have black backs? Second question is what is a reasonable price to expect from a Minoso Clubhouse Collection Jersey card? I'm debating putting it on the bay but not sure yet. I saw one went off for $212 which seems like an anomaly to me, maybe it was the first auction to go off? Also if someone could shoot me a PM with the list of black backs and SPs I'd appreciate it. I found the lists one day well going back through this thread, but now I can't find them.

    Thanks,
    Josh

Welcome to the boards. PM Pharber for a list, a nice one at that! First prices on all the rare cards in heritage are really high, there
are people out there who just want the cards. The Minoso has tough odds, but I have seen a few of them. If you check now there
should be one or two up, see where they are at. You could always list it for 200 BIN and take best offers. You would be surprised
    what might happen

    Good Luck

Found some retail in Target on Friday, 24 pack boxes. They have Tops 205 Vintage Design seeded 1:4 (Target exclusive). Perhaps the Perez are exclusive to Wal-Mart. They were in the seventh card spot, in place of an SP.

Mathews is hardly a rare auto to get. He signed frequently up until his death. At least topps figured out how to spell his name, back
in 2001 they had Matthews on his redemptions!

Yeah I was the one wanting a Pujols refractor, and Kevin I agree with you on the cut sig. Topps design is a little bland, but atleast they are clean looking autos this year and not cuts from signed photos like last year that looked really bad.

Those T205's are nice, much better than the Perez's.

2nd retail box-almost exactly the same as first

    3rd retail:
    CC:Mussina
    chrome:1
    refractor: Manny
    SP:8
    TN:1
    NAP:2
    BF:2
    NF:1
    blackbacks & semi SP's : many including the 1 blackback I needed

Overall a better box but the hobby boxes spoiled me for these.

Im not too interested in the T205's topps has done plenty of them in the past, even though they are nice cards. I will be trading
    mine for the perez cards.

Last retail box is the worst
    chrome:1
    SP:8
plus insert cards, blacks, & semi Sp's

Now of 16 boxes I've opened still missing 3 base cards, 2 NAP, 1 TN, 4 SP & a host of chrome.

That seems like pretty poor collation from opening hobby, retail & 8 walmart packs or 3136 cards.

The good news is I got my money from Paypal on the SVU18 claim today.

I'm still plowing through my hobby boxes - I'm now 20 boxes in, and still not a single hint of ink...

I feel bad I haven't jumped in much this year - been busy with other stuff.

I'm working on picking the best cards for my final set - I'm not sure what I'm missing for sure.

I don't have the variation of Santana in a Met uni - is it definitely an SP?

Overall of the cards I've selected - this is the best condition in years - centering is average to good - I've got about 50 cards to turn in so far.

I will give the final breakdown on the chromes after - I did get a total of 12 relics, 1 black chrome and only 1 auto - Bob Smith, Pirates.
I've never had any luck at all with autos.

I will read the thread on the first rainy day!

Thanx for all the great input to catch up on.

Is this the normal coloring on card #453? It's two tone -
