That's funny that people should mention Heritage. In my "explorations" for blasters (must stop, must stop), I have noticed a ton of open Retail boxes and blasters of '07 Heritage. Where the heck was all that inventory during the feeding frenzy?

You really think there's only ink in one our of every FOUR boxes on average??

    All of you are addicts!

That being said, without posting my general want/have list, I am down to 3 cards needed for the mini set (thanks to all the superb trading going on. Thank God for computers, can you imagine the lists and back and forth that would go on without instant messaging?), I'll list them and if somebody has them, we can talk.

Are the blasters really worth it if you're looking for something nice? Walmart by my house has a couple left, and they're just sitting there.

Is it worth $40 for 16 retail packs?

Hobby boxes do not "guarantee" something nice. For $110 would you rather have:

    A) a 24 pack hobby box promising 2 hits (no promise of an auto),

    or

    B) 40 packs (5 blasters) that may also yield 2 (or more) hits (and an outside chance at an auto), but will give you way more minis you need, or mini trade bait for completing your sets.

I'll take the 40 packs, and that's from a guy who got 5 autos in his hobby case.

i think that is the stupidest thing ever (possibly). if the original sketch is a 1/1, fine, but topps shouldn't put the stupid stamp on cards I get in every pack.

ebay sometimes pulls auctions with "1/1" in the title, unless the card actually says 1/1. Well, in this case, the cards actually say 1/1 but are not.. absolutely stupid.

Just picked up three blasters at the local wal-mart. If these are good, I'm gonna go pick up the last two they have.

I'm hoping for some bazooka backs or something. I know ink is a tough pull in a blaster, so I'm not expecting too much there. We'll see.

It appears, at least from the posts on this forum, that Wal-Mart blasters have less hits than Target blasters. I pretty much agree.

I don't have a spreadsheet or anything with hard numbers, but from just my own personal experience and reading the box breaks on the Beckett Forum, I am convinced Target's were "loaded." I haven't pulled anything of note from other blasters, but my Target trip yielded a Mia Hamm GU. Beckett's forums are full of people that pulled bigger hits out of Target blasters.

Plus, it's hard for me to buy the "the blasters are all the same" argument, when Target's have slightly different printing. Target blasters say 19.99 in the orange box on the front. Other blasters say "Bonus Box" there.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

    Blaster 1

    4 Regular Minis
    2 A&G Minis
    1 Black Mini No number
    1 white No Number mini

    Off to a good start.

    Blaster 2

    5 Regular Minis
    1 SP Regular Mini
    1 A&G Minis
    1 Flag
    1 Arod
    and...
    Brian Cashman SP relic

    Blaster 3

    3 Regular Minis
    2 A&G Minis
    1 Black Mini No Number
    1 Flag
    and...
    Bazooka Glen Perkins 11/25

    These Target blasters are loaded.

    Blaster 4

    3 Regular Minis
    1 SP Regular Mini
    2 A&G Minis
    1 Black Mini No number
    1 Flag

Back to reality a little with #4

    Blaster 5

    4 Regular Minis
    2 A&G Minis
    1 SP A&G Mini
    1 Black Mini No number

    Let's hope #6 is a good ending.

    Blaster 6

    3 Regular Minis
    2 A&G Minis
    1 SP A&G Mini
    1 Black Mini No number
    1 Flag

Firest 3 were definitely better than the last 3, but it was a lot of fun.

    Highlights:
    1 white No Number
    5 black No Number
    2 SP A&G back Minis
    4 Flags
    1 Bazooka
    Brian Cashman suit relic SP

Could have used 1 more hit (relic or auto), but I've definitely had worse blasters.

For $120 + tax, I'll take 48 packs (yes, even these 48 above) over a 24 pack hobby box which is almost the same price.
