Thanks. I'm 4 cards short right now. Mantle, Yankees, Williams, Braves. Can't wait to finish it. Here is a pic of the rest of the set and few other items.
I do very little in the crossover field. Everynow and then I find something that I want to cross. I usually only buy the PSA slabs. Thanks for your kind words it is a work in progress and I have at 15 cards to add or update to the Gallery. In case you didn't know that Gallery is the Michael Payne's best 300 cards. It is listed under DJJS 300 best on the registry
My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

Dave: Thanks again. Congratulations on the DJJS 300 best!! I bookmarked your website link.
Just curious, what is the "method to your madness" or goals for your collection? For me, I'm trying to get rookie cards (or as close to rookie cards as I can afford/find) for every MLB HOF'er. I guess I realize that unless I hit the powerball I'll never get RC's for some (i.e. Ruth, E107 RC's, etc). As far as grading companies, I was thinking of using SGC for all my cards 1919 and earlier and PSA for the rest. I'd have to crossover a few, but when I upgrade I'm trying to stay away from the other grading companies.
I am almost ashamed to even post pics of my collection. >>
Nice cards! I'm a big Larry Bird fan.. Are you from the Boston area? You may already know this, but I'll say it any way. The cards in the back would show a lot better if you made a little stand about 2+ inches high (easily made out of wood), you have plenty of height. Thanks for sharing!!

No, live in Florida now but grew up in Indiana.... So that is why a Bird fan.

Actually I did not even think about it, My office is were everything is at and it is still a "work in progress". That is a good idea about bringing the back up some. thanks
Wow, great looking collections guys. Keep them coming!!! Dan, I love the way you blend all the different era together and still maintain a focus. Also, great looking room!!!
Stump, you have some absolutely stunning cards. Thanks for sharing.
Biff, you should not be ashamed to show your collection. You have some great looking cards and pictures. One of the great things about this hobby are the different types of collections people have. Its funny we can see a lot of these cards on ebay anytime we want, but there is something special about seeing how people organize and display them.
Dave, you are real close to completing the 56 set. I need about 90 to finish my 59 set. Thanks for sharing the extra pics too. It must take you a long time to dust that room.
Beautiful Goudeys! The Hot Wheels cases are from Giovanni Plastics. The graded card stands were off Ebay, but I don't have the seller listed on my spreadsheet, sorry.

So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
Nice cards I just wished some of you guys lived near me because it just seems like I am into this stuff by myself ! I don't think I have one person in my life that is into sportscards
TJMAC, what is your email address (either post or email me at c_u_l_1@yahoo.com)?
Looking for Jonny Gomes cards, especially Triple Threads and printing plates. Will consider all cards, though. Got something? Contact me at c_u_l_1@yahoo.com
i have shifted 180 degrees from graded stuff to raw this year and am really truly enjoying fishing for raw cards and doing searches from raw dealers, feels like a kid again boy!
Great collection. One question. Why do you have 3 graded 1977 Yaz's in your collection? Do you like collecting different grades, or have you upgraded and kept the lower grades or just some other reason?
It makes me want to get off my butt and finish my office/display room. I started last fall designing and building an office in my house for my White Sox collection. I have started a collection of 2005 game used White Sox players bats. I need 6 more for the 2005 roster. I have not decided what I will do for the pitchers yet. (Single signed balls or a group ball.
The room is not near done but these pictures will give you an idea on the built in wall desk. I will built custome displays for the bats, helmets, jerseys, etc.
Here is the design for the desk book shelf section
Here are the outside cabinets built. I am going with a dark olive paint scheme and mission furniture. I think it looks like guy furniture.
Thanks for the motivation.
Some of my collection. The wife is getting more and more upset that it is spread out on the bed in one of the guest rooms.
Actual Black Printing Plate to make Daily Southtown paper after World Series Win
I need to take some pictures of my collection I only have random ones right now.
Here are some hats and bunting from the 2006 season. The bunting was on the field for the World Series Flag Raising Ceremony Opening Day.
I can't wait to get some of these framed and on the walls as well.

They look great layed out instead of stacked in front of the computer!

I think there's 10x more impact when you lay cards out side by side rather than one at a time, it makes the overall impact so much greater.
Framing that on a wall would be spectacular. Thanks for sharing.

Regarding the 1977 Yaz cards it looks like one is Topps Cloth, OPC and the regular issue.
