Here are some pics from the USF spring football game last night...
The crowd: They only let people sit on the East sideline to eliminate the amount of concession stands open and area to clean. Attendance wasn't officially announced but it was projected to be around 5-10 thousand. The crowd also spills into the grey "200 level". Nothing compared to the crowds Alabama, UF, UGA and those schools get for spring games, but it was a pretty fun atmosphere. I just can't wait 'til there's 55,000 people there on September 5th!
Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk, I'm a woman's man: no time to talk. Music loud and women warm, I've been kicked around since I was born. And now it's all right. It's OK. And you may look the other way. We can try to understand the New York Time's effect on man.
Whether you're a brother or whether you're a mother, you're stayin' alive, stayin' alive. Feel the city breakin' and everybody shakin', and we're stayin' alive, stayin' alive. Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive, stayin' alive. Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive.
here's a few pics of our 11 year old boy from Friday nite.
he's pitched in 4 out of our 6 games this year, well started 4.
1 "no no" complete game shut out with 13 SO's and 3 walks. Run ruled them in 4.5. 1 loss another win a no decision from Friday (when the pics were taken). He started and went 3 1/3 and left the game with 40 pitches (so he could be used again Monday) and it was 8-0 us. The wheels came off after he exited.
some photos from my son's freshman year in high school. Mighty proud of him, he started about half the games and was first one off bench in the remaining....he's already playing summer league and will be JV this fall. He runs the point for his team and as you can tell from the pictures will bring it from the left or right side....if he could only grow a few more inches....
My wife and I took our 4 yr old son Wyatt fishing for the first time last Friday. Wyatt and I each caught 3 catfish. His first 1 weighed in just over a lb and my largest cat was 1 lb 10 oz. which left us with some good fillets that night. Wyatt did great and had fun..He understood how to hold and watch the pole, I just had to help him hold the pole while he reeled them in. Mommy and Savannah enjoyed themselves too.
My boy's team won the city championship tonite. Story and pics from game below.....
My son's team won the city championship tonite.
The coach put him on 2B for his defense instead of starting at pitching. He also wanted the 12 year olds to get a chance to pitch since it was their final game of LL.
Well the boy went in during the 5th inning with 1 out (we only play 6) and we were up 5-4. He got out of that inning. The bottom of our order came up in the bottom of the 5th and we didn't score.
Top of the 6th he walked one and intentionally walked a 12 year old that bangs the crap out of the ball. He struck the next kid out and actually showed some emotion on the mound with a big fist pump. An error led to them tying the game.
We came up in the bottom of the six tied at 5 with the top of our order. Leadoff gets on and gets to 2B with a passed ball. My boy hits one and I thought the game was over but the 3B coach didn't send the speedy kid. Next kid hits a walkoff single.
My boy was almost in tears just before batting. He was very upset about that run scoring while he was pitching. I was very happy for him that he got up and got to make up for it.
A few pics from tonite's game which was by far probably the best game in the majors this season.
This was right after his hit in the bottom of the sixth.
