Cheap buy on ebay, I guess nobody saw it. It's only a 7 but that's 7 better than the one I had.

    Thanks Mike.

I got the 3rd Ruth somewhere around 3-4 years ago, and ever since then, I've been looking for a PSA 1-2 #149 with good eye-appeal. I think this one is only the 2nd one I've seen that I liked.

BTW - did you know that KDKA Pittsburg was the first radio station in the US to broadcast in 1920?

    Thanx for sharing.

Jim - that's a nice Clemente. People probably weren't sure what it was since it didn"t say 'Topps'.

Stone - you're wealth of information goes well beyond sports cards...

Here are four from a recent submission. The Boggs was a BGS 9 but had two 9.5 qualifiers so I knew it had a good shot at at 10!!!
And the '86 OPC's, what can I say, they are tuffer than the '86 Topps!!

Bought this one off fellow board member Packman, great transaction and a great card. Looks nicer than the grade, IMO. Plus I really like the look of the T206s in the SGC holder. My first one in an SGC holder:

Finally got a card I have been looking for - a long, long time.

    From a really great, colorful pre-war set - 1927 Gallaher's cigarettes

    image

but what really makes it special is the text on the back - Jackson was the top scorer in the USA just the season before with Bethlehem Steel F.C.
